First off, I have to say I rarely post on Finheaven but I visit multiple times each and every day. I want to sincerely thank everyone who contributes in any way to this website. Whether it's the mods continuing to do a great job helping to run the site to everyone who posts their thoughts, feelings, opinions, breaking news articles, analysis, game recaps, etc. Thank you for making this place a great Miami Dolphins news HQ for many! Also, special shout out to Hoops who's insight I really enjoy. Thanks bro.

I have been thinking a lot about our recent success and admit, it's been hard not to get a little excited with the possibility of having an actual NFL caliber head coach, amazing O-Line play (when healthy :rolleyes2:), and a QB who can certainly show flashes. The last 15 years+ have been tough on all us fans. It almost makes a person look for the bad even in the midst of a 4 game winning streak thinking "yeah but this is the dolphins, they will certainly find a way to screw it up."

All I know is that I for one am enjoying the ride and am extremely pleased with Adam Gase. Color me impressed with Vance Joseph's scheme, attacking nature, and actually putting some of these young guys (and old vets) in a position to be successful. Guys like Tannehill & Maxwell are heavily criticized but it feels like everyone has had their moments. Heck even Jordan Cameron had a sweet TD catch thanks to a Tannehill's bullet through a tiny window.

That makes me want to see how my fellow fin fans feel about Mr. Ryan Tannehill. I know he is not perfect and has plenty of room for improvement, but overall - how do you feel about him? I see the stats, I know that statistically speaking, he's not having a stellar year, but imo, he has really stepped up after finding a groove in Gase's offense. I finally feel like he is becoming more comfortable and letting his emotions out. The defense seems to love it and rallying around the offense and vice versa. Jarvis is saying GREAT things about how the guy's are playing for each other even though he hasn't been getting the rock nearly as much as he's used to. Instead of becoming disgruntled, he's happy, smiling, and enjoying the success.

Please feel free to drop a vote in the poll to let us know your thoughts and thanks for reading my ramblings :)

PS, I would literally pay anyone who is able to find this sweatshirt for me, just drop me a private message. I can't find it, it's sold out everywhere! So sweet! #Ineedit

We have seen legit improvement . . . not the smoke and mirrors 2014 stuff that saw stats but a lot of the same things I've always been critical on him about. Ryan is making moves in the areas that were IMO always holding him back from being one of the better quarterbacks in the NFL.

I thought the 2nd half of that Jets game we saw him tremble a bit, got away with a few shaky decisions, but that happens . . . the first half of the Chargers game, prior to the Stills throw, you almost felt like it was a carry over from the offense sputtering(until the last drive with Ajayi) vs. the Jets . . . but man he shut everybody up once he hit Stills and with the way he played the rest of that game.

It's foolish to just think it's all fine and dandy now . . . we got 7 games left and we need to see the consistency that has often lacked over the last 4 years . . . from Ryan and from the parts around him on offense. But nobody can deny the gains he is making and that is due to hard work by him and competent coaching around him.

I am, i've always been a fan of the guy but reminding myself that in prior years he's always come to a point where he was really looking good, under philbin, and under cambell, and then drop off for the rest of the season. I really think he has improved but the true litmus test lies ahead - does he keep it up or go back to being inconsistent? My money is on keeping it up and getting better.

Yes, I am,pleased with his performance this year. Learning to be effective within a new offense is a difficult task. The entire offense struggled at every position to execute tasks. We all know he will be back next year. Coach Gase appears to be very happy with his QB.

Yes, he's been solid under the circumstances. Could be better... but could've been much worse also.

The last 4 games? YES!!!

Overall over the course of his career? too inconsistent - blame the coaching or O-line but its been inconsistent.

the last 4 game he have been playing good not great. with good supporting cast. we still have lot football left. We will need thill17 to be playing his best game in December. thank to team improving. good coaching as well. other key player Ajayi, kilo, Drake, def, oline, special team. He have not been battle test lately in 4th qtr. but we are winning game... that key thing.

Tanne isn't the type of QB that can make things happen without help, but let's be real, there are only a few that can do that. The variables have to be working in his favor, ie. good run game, solid pass blocking, receivers getting open and catching the ball, etc. But isn't that what they get paid to do? Gase is finally holding those guys accountable. Previous coaches would've singled him out, but Gase has stuck by his side because he knows that in order to succeed you have to have these ingredients. He is doing a great job with him and I think Tanne is slowly building the confidence to get over the "inconsistency" hump.
