Below is a copy of the Miami Dolphins draft choices over the past 5 drafts. This highly speaks for itself and is reason enough that Ireland is a horrible GM.

Out of over 40 picks, we only have about 10 - 12 players that have made average to big contributions to the team on the field.

In this past years draft alone, in rounds 2 through 4 Ireland missed on every player he selected! And he had two 3rd round and 2 4th round picks, and he botched every one of them! None of them have done anything this season so far, with the exception of Sims one big catch.

Plus he spends big money on FA this season, goes after a guy for 60 million, with blazing speed, but the guy cant catch, is scared to catch over the middle, and who gets tackled with ease on anything he does catch!

The sooner Ireland goes, the better!

Great timing Man!

Got news for ya though, I could do the same thing with Bill Belichick and Ireland might look better in some instances.

btw, those last 3 drafts are not all that bad, and we havent even started in with our rookies yet.

Those are the worst ones man . . . what are you looking at? If people wanna give Ireland the reins at the 2011 draft . . . and u rank these 5 drafts . . . 2009 and 2010 both come ahead of the rest of them. The only one that has a chance of being better than those 2 is 2012 because of Ryan Tannehill, but that is not even a "sure bet" at this moment.

I mean smh at the draft this year even. Our best pass rusher is hurt and our rookie first rounder can barely see the field. We have war wounds at CB, and neither or 2nd or 3rd round pick can see the field. Our #1 TE goes down and Egnew and Sims can barely see the field. Our LBs are hurt and we send slow Trusnik out there instead of Jenkins. Somebody said it best before . . . its almost like the Dolphins have some kind of redshirt program that we don't know about going on.

We need a sub forum just for fire Ireland threads.

im sure your betting against it.

We beat the Colts and Cincy. I say things are looking up. And we just got rid of that softy martin!

btw, BB really scored on that Aaron hernandez pick huh?

Clemons, Odrick, jones, Lamar miller, hartline, rishard Mathews, tannehill. Really not bad. Don jones is a good special teamer. Carrol has done alright. Charles clay is coming into his own.

And everyone has their panties in a bunch because of this years draft. I'm pretty sure a year or two ago everyone thought Odrick sucked and look at him now. Give these new guys time to grow.

Actually I'm not, but I'm not one to sit up here and claim he's a top 10 QB like many did after a 3-0 start, bypassing proven veteran QB's in the process. He's clearly a work in progress, a lot of talent, but extremely raw and somewhat reckless with the ball. Ball placement could be better. Has come up with some timely throws late in games that give you tons of hope, but right now is more inconsistent than you'd like. Has the arm talent to make all the throws at this level but does not use his athletic gifts enough to get him out of trouble.

Colts game was a good win, Cincy . . . meh, caught them on a night where they lose the best DT in football, best LB out, best CB out, a ton of drops and bad throws by Dalton and Bernard, who was gashing out, was hurt late in the game. It's a win. but lets not make it seem like we played some good ball to win that game. But I'm sure that's how your going to take it. We did everything possible to blow the lead and Tannehill came up big on the final drive to get it into OT. It shouldn't feel like an optimistic win, but I will take a win any way I can get it at this point.

Comparing Irelands recent drafts to Belichick's is tough, because no matter what Bill does he will get a pass because he won 3 superbowls, and Ireland has not proved anything to date.

As I said, Ireland has some good picks. He had over 40 picks though, and he has missed on alot more than he has hit on!

Don't worry the next game 3 game winning streak. They will all be gone again. After the next good draft, they will be gone again..

I like that redshirt line. I should have thought of it.

If a team has a subpar year, one of the distractions is supposed to be the ability to follow the rookies. Jeff Ireland all but eliminates that aspect. Forget about Martin, maybe I should sue.

Here's something I appreciate about this week: When the apologists are out in full force, it inevitably encompasses Jeff Ireland. Not this time.

Where were you just 8 weeks ago, or 5 weeks ago, or just two weeks ago? Convenient now, and this is suppose to be your team. ****ing pathetic..

I just find it funny that the justification for Ireland defenders is pointing out bad picks of proven GMs.

When you can draft guys like Brady, Seymour, Wilfork and Gronk and turn around guys like Talib and Moss to have big seasons . . . you are a proven GM. Three championships . . . stop trying to put Jeff Ireland into a light isn't worthy of. Let him earn it first.

Say what you want about Hernandez . . . there is probably good odds that Egnew and Sims combined won't even accumulate Aaron's short but productive career.

Actually our recent drafts have been good especially if u compare that to other teams over the same period
