I know it's far fetched to say they will play for the Championship.Question is.How far do they move up?With several teams in front of them losing,i still feel they won't get the big jump in the polls they need.

They will be 5 or 6 when the polls come out

Shoot IF I could predict that (accurately), I'd actually buy lotto tickets!

They should move up, but it really doesn't matter yet. They still have WVU on their schedule. They win that they should jump up even more.

If they get off the cloud they are on now, they should be Cinc and Syracuse.

I think the WV game will be real tought, that QB can take off and run, I don't like that matchup.

I agree. I think if Rutgers wins out then they should be in the title game. Undefeated with a few top 10 wins... is good enough. I just don't think they can win that one on the road!

The Cincy game actually scares me too death more than the WV believe it or not, mostly because I think they will be up against WV, but Cincy has trap game written all over it bigtime after a big win against Louisville and I could easy see them letting down some against Cincy - who is a tough team to begin with - and if they lose next week against them it would damper alot of what they have accomplished this past week.

Getting up for Cincy after the emotional roller coaster week they have just had could be Schiano's biggest task this year, if they can get past them on the road, oh man, then the BCS people should be getting nervous.

That being said I see RU at #7 at the end of today.

And WV now has something to play for. If WV wins they go to a BCS bowl. Whether it be Orange, Sugar, or Fiesta. That's a big motivation.

Win, BCS bowl. Lose.....Sun bowl on a Wed at like 11am. WV will show up and be ready for Rutgers

Rutgers will be motivated too. If they go into that game 11-0, and WVU 10-1...WOW, what a game it will be.

Not if CAL doesn't beat USC. If USC beats Cal, then Rutgers has NO SHOT of the Championship game (as USC-ND winner will be in the final game), so Rutgers might actually be down a little if they are playing that game with no shot.

I don't know if WVU will have an advantage because if they win they know they will paly in the BCS, there were ALOT of teams this week who were in the top ten and in some cases could taste the BCS championship game and what happen? #5 Auburn got crushed by a very medicore Georgia team, #4 Texas lost to KSU and #8 Cal lost to Arizona and even #6 Florida almost lost as well to South Carolina.

And if Rutgers goes into the game 11-0, don't you think they will have motivation to not only finish the season undefeated but get a BCS bowl bid as well such as the Orange Bowl?

Even if the BCS championship game is out of reach for RU, I would imagine they would still have alot to play for as well.
