Here's how the Dolphins can make the playoffs if they win their last three games:

A) A loss by the Patriots.
B) A loss by the Ravens.
C) A loss by the Broncos to either the Raiders or Chiefs.

Just need ONE out of 8 of those games to go our way (plus our own three wins, of course).

1 out of 8.

1 out of 8.

That's not asking for too much now is it?

All 3 teams we have left have losing records. But they've got to be the best 3 teams under .500 as they're all scary! We could win them all, or less them all.

I don't wanna hear about any more playoff scenarios until Miami is 9-6 heading into the Pitt game.

Any of those eight games would guarantee us playoffs at 10-6, but we might also get in with a Broncos loss to Philadelphia. Some other games would also have to go our way, though.

the broncos loss to philly won't help because thats a loss to a NFC opponent

i think our best chance is the ravens losing to the steelers as they only won last time by 3 in OT against dennis dixon and no polamalu

Which is exactly why we should be concerned. The game against Buffalo should be a perfect example of taking a team at their statistical worth to equating it to a win.

we just need to be intense every week.. take care of our own business.. and we'll see where the dust settles.

A loss to Philly would mean that we'd finish with even records in the AFC and against common opponents, and the tiebreak would go to strength of victory, which Miami might or might not win.

So it would not guarantee Miami the playoffs, but it would most definitely help if that were the only avenue we ended up having.

Just cheer our guys and whoevers playing the Ravens, Bronco's and New England.

Pretty simple really...lol.
