Tight end
Dion Sims continues to play a major role for the Dolphins offense since his return from a two-game absence because of a concussion.
For the second time in the three games since his return, Sims played every snap on offense in the 31-24 victory against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. He also played every offensive snap in the 14-10 victory against the Los Angeles Rams after playing 49 of 51 snaps in his first game back, the 31-24 victory against the San Diego Chargers.
“For a guy his size, he’s in tremendous shape and that’s why he has the ability to stay on the field,” Head Coach Adam Gase said Monday. “And I do think he has the type of mentality to where he takes a lot of pride being on the field as much as possible. He has been hurt with us in the past and if it’s been something he can play with, we rarely hear about it because he just keeps going.”
Sims isn’t just playing, though, he’s contributing.
