since daniels is down...

Way too late in the season to bring someone in and expect them to learn our complicated schemes. By the time anyone got ready, Daniels would likely be back. What about starting Jason Allen?
 
is there a reason we dont have all 5 of those guys on our team? all of them are better than what we already have. Im seriously starting to question Saban's knowledge of the NFL. hes gonna turn into a Steve Spurrier and Butch Davis who lasted a few seasons then went back to NCAA. I bet if u look at FA's on the OL, ull find some good names...but no Saban wants his big beefy slow lazy guys...ok Saban. smart thinking.
 
what i miss....i knw he was hurt but didnt know he wasnt playin this week....how long is he out

i wouldnt ut allen,thats part of the reasson why he hasnt seen playin time

what about hill at nickel to get bell in there

I'd like to see Allen worked in more often, but there is one guy out there (if he's ready) that already knows our system....Will Poole. I'm not one of his fanboys, just saying.
 
We may be able to move Hill to CB and throw in Allen....Also Plummer retired too due to his injuries through his career!
 
Don't we have Shirdonya Mitchell on the practice squad? He too, knows our system.
