Its looking more and more that we will draft offence with Number 9 and i think teddy Ginn makes a good fit!!

Punt and Kick offs and a WR!!! ID like the pick but I'd like Branch or landry!

If Miami could of snatched Speedster Stallworth I say D !! I dunno!!

Thoughts?

You don't take 2 safeties in back to back years that high. It's a waste of money. You can win with serviceable, cheaper safeties and need to use such high picks on impact players like QB, OT, DT, CB, etc. that are hard to find and that are in positions that we currently have a BIG need for.

Ginn will not get drafted at 9, unless he can run before the draft, and even then it's a stretch.

Ginn isn't close to be worth the #9 pick...he is the next Peter Warrick or Desmond Howard, undersized speedy WR who will be a decent KR but worthless as a wideout.

That is just not true. We need help at safety. HE would be the BPA. Not only that but it kills 2 birds with one stone. By this move they can move Jason Allen to CB.

You can't say"we're not gonna draft this position because we did pick it high last year" That is a losing rational

Or they could keep Allen at FS and play Landry at SS.

Or you could just draft a true corner in Leon Hall and keep Allen at FS and kill 3 birds with one stone, since Hall can return kicks too.

We do need a Wide Reciever but as high as our first pick...naw. If we trade down I seek it more likely happening. The question i raise is do you really want your speed future 1/2 WR to run kickoff (i am just looking from an injury perspective)

i like landry cause he seems like a Cant miss player....a guy who will play like Ed Reed....Tedy Ginn Im not a big fan of.....im starting to like more and more the trade down scenario

Pass on Ginn, he's a return receiver only. Trade down and go for Jarrett if we want a WR in the 1st round. Other wise, go OL (Brown) or DL (Branch).

The only wide receiver I'd take at #9 is Calvin Johnson. But we all know that ain't gonna happen.

Who knows...
Hester was the one who helped the bears win games that were a close call so maybe it is worth to get a awsome KR. Then again I don't think he is as good as hester and I don't want Ginn to have as many fumbles as hester did. If Ginn can learn to run routes better then fine but my best guess is Levi Brown.

Ginn is better than Hester and he will be a great deep threat as a wr. I say pick Ted Ginn Jr.!!!!!!!!!!!1

What did Ginn do to prove he is better than Hester? Hester broke/tied the NFL record for return TDs in his rookie year, I'd say it's difficult to bring in some guy and say he is better. Ginn is nothing but a glorified speed receiver who played in the slooow Big 10.

I hope we do not waste our 9th pick on Ginn. I want the best player available, probably a D-lineman. If we reach I hope it is for Levi Brown. I agree with the Ginn to Peter Warrick comparison. I think our recievers are ok, maybe take the best one left in the second, sign Washington or Curtis. Let Vick return, or sign a running back like Hicks or Sams for return duties.

I could see Bowe or Meacham at #9 in a lot of drafts, but the defensive talent available pushes them down much further.
