ok, ok..... OTHER than Marino in '84.

I think we'd all state that year for obvious reasons. If you think that is NOT your final answer, tell us what you would rank above that year and why.

and to make this fun let's concede that Peyton's year last year might beat that.... but lets not include that so we can reach back to earlier years. (make this more difficult).

i have an opinion, but to keep this open-ended, i won't say. let's see what you got!

The one that stands out the most (besides Manning last year) would be Warner back in '99. For someone to literally come out of no where and play like that was almost unbelievable.

lol... that was my exact one.

4353 yds 65.1% 41 TDs 13 INTs ..... hard to beat that. in 2002 he had another great year...

4830 yds 68.7% 36 TDs 22 INTs .... not as many TDs but those yards! and comp %!!!

anyone else?

besides marino's season, i would immediately guess peyton or steve young in 1994.

Warren moon 1991 led the league in pass attempts, completion, yards, and touchdowns. 362 584 62.0 4689 8.0 33 13

Or how about this one? Culpepper

Those numbers are a bit tainted because of the run 'n shoot....the Oilers would throw the ball when they were up by 30 points that year.

I'll go with Warner in '99. The guy was sick. Probably the most accurate I've ever seen a Q.B. in my life.

I'm going to have to agree with this one. If it wasn't for Manning having the season he had, People would rate Culpepper's season as one of the best ever.
