"Towle, who still holds the Dolphins' single-season tackles record,"

what is the record and how come zach hasn't broken it yet? I'm sure zach post more tackles then a 300 pound man

Steve Towle was a bada** in his day.

i just want to see a website that gives the "official" stats. espn, nfl, and other sites have diffrent stats.

and even teams count stats diffrently.

Tackle stats are worthless. Guys get credit for being within 5 yards of a play if they are playing at home. Ray Lewis gets credited with a tackle on every play that doesnt end in a touchdown.

Simliar to Jesse Tuggle, when he went to pick up his helmet at the beginning of the game he was credited with a tackle.

I think during his trial though he was credited with an assist...

I have noticed that too. I don't understand on why ESPN and NFL has two different tackle #'s for a player. One of them can't count.
