Sorry, no link- but today on Sirius NFL Station, John Riggins and Alex Marvez were talking about the playoffs, and the Dolphins/Ravens game. BOTH agreed on certain points regarding the game. I'll summarize, briefly, their comments:
-Riggins said that both Miami and Baltimore have improved drastically since they first met, but he thought Miami has improved more and come further
-he wasn't ready at the moment to predict Miami as the winner, but he said it wouldn't surprise him
-Marvez said that while most pundits don't like any of the home teams this weekend, he thinks of the four, Miami has the best chance. They don't turn the ball over, they don't commit penalties, and he said they are playing as a TEAM.
-both commented that while Baltimore's defense is SO sturdy, Miami's O might have the diversity to score on them.
-I realize Marvez formerly covered the Dolphins and may be a bit of a homer, he admitted he grew up a Chargers fan, so I'm not sure how extreme his homerism is.
Anyway, food for thought, plus the first outside-of-Miami-reporters that I have seen throw the Fins a bone.
