Sitting pretty

We are sitting pretty right now. In our conference the only teams with a better conference record are the Steelers, Bills, and Titans. In addition, we are tied with the Patriots and Jets for 1-1 division record. The Bills are 0-0...We have handed losses to 2 possible AFC playoff contenders. I think the Fins now feel they can beat ANYONE. Their confidence is building every game!

Let's not get ahead of our selves. Things are looking good, but let's take it for what it is. We beat two very good teams, but two teams with injuries at top skill positions. The Phins just need to keep building on this success.

We started out with a team that had no chemistry, and most players probably didn't know the guy next to thems name. We started out sluggish but have since blown the division wide open with the team finally showing cohesion. You can cut the intensity and swagger with a knife! We are separated from 1st in our division by a mere 2 games and have beaten two of the conferences toughest teams. We've already doubled our wins from last year. THATS what I mean by sitting pretty!

After seeing the Bills get killed in AZ our loss there doesn't seem that bad. I guess they play really well at home. If only we could have scored in those two RZ possessions against the Jets. But we have dominated the LOS the last two games.

As long as we keep up the good work we should be able to move into a position to make a push. If we win 3 out of the next 4 we will be in spot on our schedule that is getting better. I think we might just be right there.
