Slimm's 2019 Defensive Ends (seniors)

Collier is probably the player I was most impressed with studying in this draft. I'm usually not high on the power rushers, and his AA is nothing special. But man, his pass rush plan and hand use is better than anyone's besides Bosa.

The doctors handed out adderall to college baseball players like it was candy. Everyone had an exemption.

Dexter Lawrence failed a drug test for PED's at Clemson. Brian Cushing, etc. The list of failed drug tests for PED's is a fairly long one. It's up to NFL teams to find out and determine what the circumstances are.

Word is Sweat’s condition isn’t nearly as bad as first reported.

How does that impact your take on him potentially at 13?

I've spoken with an NFL medical source on this.

Ian Rapoport's report left out QUITE a bit that would be most relevant to a medical staff, and comes off as purely meant for public consumption. No team in the NFL is going to change their medical flag because Ian Rapoport got on TV the day of the draft and said that Montez Sweat saw a specialist and the measurement of the heart wall's thickness is actually closer to 1.5 centimeters than 2.0 centimeters.

My NFL medical source is pretty adamant that there's a legit worry and teams remain concerned.

I ran my specific information (which I can't share) through another medical specialist and he said it checked out.

Personally I can't take the chance on him. This isn't like knowing that Jay Ajayi's knee will give one day and then he won't have an NFL career anymore. If this bomb goes off, the player dies on the field.
