Slimm, what's your take on Jelks? I've just read something from a publication out of Philly, where Kiper has him as a 1st rounder. He reminds me of Ex Dolphin, Deon Jordan, in terms of length and size.

I talked briefly about him last year with CK in my 2018 Defensive End thread, and said then that he was going to be a 1st rounder.

The length and size with Jordan are certainly similar. It's too easy of a comparison really. Jelks is a better prospect.

Slimm, do you know if the BYU guys are older?

Like Jelks and Allen a lot, and I'm pretty high on Sweat and Granderson. Looks like a pretty deep group that could spit out a high-end player or two.

Agree - play strength, physicality, instincts, and motor seem like the big things separating Jelks from Jordan.

Oshane Ximines. Old Dominion. Gave my man Yosuah Nijman fits. Always been a good looking pass rusher, but has taken over games as a Senior.

Jelks looks much better rushing over a guard - doesn't quite have the get off in his first step or ability to dip and bend needed to really be a force coming off the edge. His pass rush tools are more in his hands and long upper limbs than lower body. Has a really good arm over move he uses to beat guys to the inside. More of a 4 or 4i technique.

Tell you what - Jonathan Ledbetter is an underrated player. So strong and good with his hands. He shocks offensive lineman with his hands and extends his arms to create hip separation.

He's a true starting end in an even front.

Most Underrated: Malik Reed, Oshane Ximines, Jonathan Ledbetter.

Most Overrated: Austin Bryant, Carl Granderson.

any chance Zack Allen is there in round two when Miami picks?
