Slimm's 2020 Cornerbacks (underclassman)

I think it's unwise to put too much stock into any one game, but you're probably right about his physical limitations.

Gabriel Davis is slept on but the separation he was creating on Adebo was just too easy, It's not a stretch to say he's not 1st rd material based on this

My goodness, Jeffry Okudah is amazing.

I'd have to think back a bit to think of a guy I've seen this good.

Want to get to your reply in the QB thread when I have some time to back up my stance - or change it if the evidence goes against it - but Okudah is one of the (non-QB) guys who (very early in the process) looks worth a Top 10 pick for Miami.

He is CBS Chris Trapasso number 1 rated player overall
At this point and I'm jumping the gun a bit but I think QB -Tua, CB and then look to the offensive line and offensive weapons

Sounds good but if you're talking Okudah I'm pretty sure he'll be gone before we get to use the pick from Pitt. I'm pretty sure that pick will be outside of the top 10 and Okudak should be gone by then.

There's still Henderson from Fla. if he is as good, still early but it appears like a must have need, over say a receiver or DE but it is early and I'm easily persuaded to go a different direction

Darnay Holmes is really intriguing. Feel like we'd probably be talking about him with the top guys if he chose almost anywhere else but UCLA.

CB and OT with the Pittsburgh and Houston picks seems like the most likely scenario to me. Target WR hard on Day 2 and look for another CB and/or OL.

If the Pittsburgh pick is high enough we could benefit big time with all the QB's coming out, even if the drafting team is not looking for a QB there will be teams lining up to move up, could see 4 or 5 QB's come off the board in top 7 or 8 picks leaving possibly 3 or 4 blue chip players, let's hope that pick falls in that range.

Very talented. There was some talk of him transferring out of UCLA a few weeks ago but I think the dad pretty much put the kibosh on that.

UCLA is playing decent ball now.

I don’t think so - too stiff in the hips. He’s a safety and will be a safety.

You forgot to unsticky this one.

Oh yeah:

Would love to see Okudah in a phins jersey next year. If we draft in the 4-10 range it is a possibility. I would like to have a guy like this ready to step in and be our #1 when Howard misses games. Also if the FO gets to a point where they would want to get rid of the Howard contract in 3 years or so then they could trade Howard and Okudah would have a few years under his belt. If they go the Patriot route and get value for a player before it becomes too late then the phins should get a #1 corner to pair with X next year.
