Smart Moves NOT Made by our FO....

In case you haven't notice,we haven't gotten any corners,OT's or DE's in free agency....I think is for a good reason.....those are the 3 deepest positions in the draft.....as many as 5 OT's and 5 DE's should go in round 1 and there could be 5 or 6 corners in round 1 as well.....I'm not saying we won't get an OT in free agency still(I like Maurice Williams) but Parcells and company have been smart with their money....why spend so much when you can get players on draft day? I like what we're doing so far...we've gone for some offence,some defence and gotten some good special team players.

totally agree with this. the draft contains a great amount of talent in these positions. i would like to get another lineman though in FA, at least for depth, if it doesnt cost us much. my OL i like is David Stewart. he'd be my hopeful.
 
You can't rebuild everything from free agency or the draft alone...you have to use both. Parcells is building the Dolphins foundation...the key players will come from the draft...as they should.
 
Lol... I was expecting something completely different based on the subject line as well.

Great post though. It's true. We should be able to get a high quality OT, DE/LB, and CB in the first two rounds. Heck if we got all three with those first three picks, I'd be ecstatic, barring someone who is a clearly better value/player falling to us.
 
Special Teams Signings

Besides SMILEY and WILFORD,everyone else was signed to jumpstart the WORST special teams coverage in the league.
 
Randy Starks will play DE in the 3-4.....Also Corner and offensive tackles are prolly the two deepest positions in the draft...no worries

There's corners that are just as good as Cromartie that will fall to us at 2a and possibly even 2b...veryyyy deep class
 
Sorry guys.....I can see why some of you guys would think the title is misleading but that wasn't my intention.....you guys think I was gonna rip the FO when it fact I wanted to praise it....sometimes the best moves you can make are the ones you don't make...great offseason so far.
