Just a thought here:
I live in St. Louis and it appears Jeff Smoker is not going to make this team. He has Bulger, Martin and Ryan Fitzpatrick ahead of him.
Did Smoker ever play for Saban?
Don't even know if he is a better option than Rosenfels or Berlin but I thought I would just throw it out there.
 
I thought u were gonna make a connection betwenn Ricky and Saban.

He's in my ESPN NFL 2K5 Free Agency List -- I'd sign him But I already have 3 QBs so meh
 
He does have a good name and it would great to see Smoker hand off to Ricky but I am being half serious here.
 
Jeff Smoker stinks. We have enough quarterbacks that stink. Bringing him in is like taking a dump in an unflushed toilet.

No No No No. I don't want Jeff Smoker on the Dolphins. I went to high school with the guy, and he is a horrible person. Keep away from Jeff.

He was just a nasty person to everyone. He has a very high opinion of himself, not as bad as TO, but still pretty bad. Also, he not a very bright person, which is why he is probably struggling with the Rams playbook.
 
Smoker has a very strong and accurate arm. He puts a nice touch on his passes too. He is not dumb.

Smoker's problem is that he has a history of hanging with the wrong crowd and enjoying way too many intoxicants. If he takes care of himself, he could be a decent starting NFL QB one day.

I wouldn't say he is dumb, but I also wouldn't trust him to take an exam for me. He was one of those kids(like a lot of them today) that was raised as a football kid his entire life. He didn't choose football, his parents chose it for him.

Anyways, he is a decent player, but I don't see him as anything better then what we already have. Only real good player to come out of my high school, years before I got into high school, was Dan Kreider.
