Smokescreen

Ever consider that if we are not going after Manning, then Philbin knows that Flynn can be our younger, cheaper franchise QB.
 
How exactly is this a smokes screen again? I don't get it. Maybe you do too much drugs; or maybe I just need to start.

Ross is a real estate man, he is not a football man and everytime I hear him talk he does a disservice to the Dolphins. Hire your football guy, if it is Ireland then shut up and let him do his job without you, you are not Jerry jones, snyder, etc...

Miami, IMO, needs help in its 2ndary (So we dont get carved up like the 1st game vs new england) , Oline, and Linebackers and Dline (if we switching to 4-3)...Thats not so SB ready....Manning helps with the QB situation, Flynn is Kolb or AJ Feeley part 2...DO NOT WANT...
 
twice since I posted this I have explained my wording was wrong. I also explained, I am not a conspiracy theorist. I am totally Drug Free!!!!! I enjoy everyone's point of view and thank everyone for respnding. It helps me learn.
 
I do believe there is some validity to this idea. It has been spoken about at lenght that Flynn might really be Philbin's guy. Here's basically the thought though - if the Fins don't at least show an interest in Manning the fans are ticked off. This way the fans see that there was an interest and they move to the guy they wanted. I don't believe this is true since at the end of the day Ross has final say and wants Manning but the theory does have some merit!
