SN's offseason report cards, Phins get 'F'

Dolphins get an 'F'
:fire:

The signing of famed sack hound Joey Porter made headlines, but Porter is 30 and perpetually hurt. The negative side of the transaction sheet -Damion McIntosh, Jeno James, Seth McKinney and Bennie Anderson on the offensive line, Kevin Carter and David Bowens on the defensive line, etc.-is lenghty and troubling.

whoever wrote this obviously never watched a Dolphins game. I wouldn't classify losing
James, McKinney and especially Anderson as troubling. And oh, by the way, we drafted 2 lineman (one being the 2nd best rated C in the draft) and signed a bunch more FA's.

and we were supposed to keep Carter then, who is 34?????

of course the beloved Patsies got an A. But, of course, they fail to mention that Adalius Thomas will also be 30 when the season starts.

Once again the Sporting News? is showing their ignorance of anything outside of the New England area.

Porter is perpetually hurt? Yet he still led the Steelers in sacks.

Losing Jeno James, Seth McKinney and Bennie Anderson is a negative? WOW!! I'm amazed that anyone would say that.

While losing Carter may hurt, I still think that Roth and R. Wright will more than make up for it.

BTW, can we get a link to the story?

Porter is 30.
Carter is 34.
Bringing the former was a bad move because he's too old.... and yet releasing the latter was also a bad move?

The Sporting News also gave Miami an A+ for the draft so I don't see how the the offseason could score an F.

WHat?

Wait a minute; losing Jeno James, Seth McKinney & Bennie Anderson is a bad thing? :sidelol::sidelol:

I dont think we lost alot with those guys but the problem is we did not gain much to replace them. We should have used another higher pick on a lineman. I think it was time to let Carter go for he money but he was solid
and lets not get it twisted Thomas is much better than Porter no matter thier age. Thomas has out performed Porter the last three years.

Pats did do better than us this offseason with the exception of overpaying for Welker. Im a dolphin fan but they did add alot more. I think they are overrated though and needed to add alot.

Well both are probably extreme because we did not deserve an A plus on our draft. But you must admit Worrel, MArtin, Rosenthal are hardly anything but castoffs.

This might sound homerish, but I think our offseason is solid. I give it a A-. Yet, I am aware how much more we need to do before the season starts. I like what I see. TRULY.

jeno james hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hes a joke
