Where do the Dolphins rank in their ability to sign free agents? Has Tannehill been approached about re-structuring?

Why would you restructure tannehill unless you're convinced that he's the future. While he got paid a lot yearly, its a great contract that gets us out after this year if we decide hes not the future. He's not just going to give up millions to potentially be cut next year lol if you restructure we'd save cap this year but then couldnt get out next year if miami decides to go a different route.

We've restructured all of one contract. That might have saved us a mil towards the cap. Not much has changed.

Suh contract will get restructured. That Tannehill deal is pretty perfect the way it is. I would guess the Wake deal is happening eventually.

Maybe extend Reshad. Grimes could eventually be approached about a restructure but Miami knows they need CB and will make this a June 1st type of thing if it needs to. More leverage on Grimes if you cut him after June 1st when many teams have spent their money.

Right now our cap is in worse shape because we have a 12.7 million dollar weight with the OV transition tag.
