All the information posted above is accurate. Although I must say, I remember when I was younger - June 1st cuts was such an exciting thing during the off-season.

I still wish it was as dramatic as it used to be. Some big names would come out here and there.

When the teams start cutting down to the 53-man rosters. That's about as exciting as it gets when the NFL is this boring.

I do expect some players to start getting released soon. Tampa is expected to cut QB Chris Simms. Lions are expected to cut DT Shaun Cody. No HUGE names but even with the salary cap, teams will start releasing players that aren't cutting it in their OTAs.
