I was just wondering if anyone actually got to see the game at a sports bar like everyone was talking about. The one i went to couldn't find it:fire: :yell: So i just knocked back a few and watched the first half of the Illinois game...then had to go home and look at GameTracker during the second half.:fire:

Couldnt get it in cali either :fire: .. heard the nfl blocked the signals on purpose

If any sports bar were to have it mine would have. We had a guy from our local ABC station call ESPN and get the EXACT coordinates the game were on. The problem is the only way to get those coordinates is by having a $10,000+ digital receiver. I'm not sure if any bars would carry that much expensive equipment. The NFL definitely screwed us over. I'm feel bad for those that drove an hour or more to go to the sports bar and not get to see the game.

I hate to tell you guys I told you so, but I did in fact warn you of this when the talk started coming up. The NFL is downright anal about digital encryption of its product. :(

I'm on crutches right now and I drove 30 min to another city, hobbled around to 4 different sportsbars that said they could get the game. I ended up coming home and listening to it over the internet. :fire:

I went to 3 different places around Tampa, all said they would have it, none did. So then I tried all day to not see the score so I could watch the game. My neighbor's kid told my son and BAM !!!

Secret out.

By the way the first game I missed in 8 years :fire:
