i have read in this forum what if luck doesn't want to play here. he wants to play elsewhere, would you be satisfied trading him to the team he wants to play for and we get a 1st 2nd and a 4th in return. and lets say we send him and a 3rd. just worried, elway from stanford didn't want to play for the team that drafted him, thats probably the stanford way.

lets he has sense enough to realize that we were once a dominant franchise, and maybe he is thinking i could turn this around

Why do people start this what if luck doesn't want to play here crap? I'm relatively young but the only time i'v seen that was in Eli Manning case..thus it doesn't happen that often

I would keep him and play Mike Brown hard ball with him.

I am also jumping on Matt Flynn or Kyle Orton in free agency the first hour into FA.

It's a remote possibility, but most players these days have moved away from doing that. If by chance he were to try it, we could play hardball or ask for a king's ransom to get him. Either way, I'm not going to worry about what might happen. If we get the top pick and have a new FO, then we are in the driver's seat moving forward. For some of us, that's all we have to look forward to at this point.

For one, with all the changes that I truely hope this team makes in the offseason, it would be a open book; a completley different team then this year. New coach, new oc, etc etc, so I highly doubt he would pull that move. I for one would hold on to him, but if Ricky was good enough for a whole years picks plus some the following year, I would want 1st, 2nd, 3rds for the next 4 years from that team.

You still draft the kid. If he doesn't sign he then goes back into the draft next year right? Chances are we will stink again. Draft him again lol!!

I think it's simple. If Miami gets the #1 pick the easiest way to tell Luck doesn't want to play for Miami is if he decides to stay in school 1 more year. If he enters the draft he wants to be the #1 pick regardless where he goes

Kyle Orton blows. Check out his record as a starter in Denver...it is terrible.

Yet many of you guys want mediocre QBs. His stats come from garbage time.

Matt Flynn hasn't done anything.

No thanks.

The Kyle Orton ship has sailed.

Why has it sailed when he is a FA next year.

IF you cannot get Luck who is your starter next year?
