From what i can tell, we win out plus
1. Cincinnati loses their last three (at Indianapolis, at Denver and Pittsburgh)
2. Jacksonville loses their last three (at Tennessee, New England and at Kansas City).
3. Denver loses two of their last three (at Arizona, Cincinnati and San Francisco)
4. Kansas City loses one of their last three - must be either San Diego or Oakland (at San Diego, at Oakland, Jacksonville)
5. Pittsburgh loses one of their next two games (at Carolina, Baltimore, at Cincinnati).
Keep in mind that there are two spots open and I believe if more than two teams are locked in a tie, head to head matchups can't break a tie. That helps us with Jacksonville and Pittsburgh but hurts us with Kansas City and Tennessee.
If we win out, we pass the Jets and the Bills automatically (though I'm not sure who wins in a tie with the Jets who will have the same conference record and division record - what is the next tie breaker - common opponent?
Looking at the must have scenarios, we will know a lot after next week. If Pittsburgh, Denver, Jacksonville, Kansas City and Cincinnati all lose - not far fetched - then we'll enter week 16 with a good shot.
A guy can dream can't he?
