From what i can tell, we win out plus

1. Cincinnati loses their last three (at Indianapolis, at Denver and Pittsburgh)
2. Jacksonville loses their last three (at Tennessee, New England and at Kansas City).
3. Denver loses two of their last three (at Arizona, Cincinnati and San Francisco)
4. Kansas City loses one of their last three - must be either San Diego or Oakland (at San Diego, at Oakland, Jacksonville)
5. Pittsburgh loses one of their next two games (at Carolina, Baltimore, at Cincinnati).

Keep in mind that there are two spots open and I believe if more than two teams are locked in a tie, head to head matchups can't break a tie. That helps us with Jacksonville and Pittsburgh but hurts us with Kansas City and Tennessee.

If we win out, we pass the Jets and the Bills automatically (though I'm not sure who wins in a tie with the Jets who will have the same conference record and division record - what is the next tie breaker - common opponent?

Looking at the must have scenarios, we will know a lot after next week. If Pittsburgh, Denver, Jacksonville, Kansas City and Cincinnati all lose - not far fetched - then we'll enter week 16 with a good shot.

A guy can dream can't he?

All of it is way to confusing and if the cards fall in our favor then great but everybody will just have to wait week by week to see what happens.

Anything is possible but I hope our players our just focused on winning and out and not other teams winning and losing!

Our chances in 2007 are pretty damn good! This year, they're so slim that it hurts. Still hope they win the last 3. Big problem now is that Indy's gotta play tough their remaining games. So go Fins - IN 07!!!!

I can see the Fins running the Colts over with Ronnie and Sammy on the last game of the season.

Not impossible but highly unlikely.Lets just win out.The games against Buffalo and the Jets will not be easy, the colts will still be tough, even if their defense is that bad.If we win all three of those games and everythings else falls into place, great. If not it's time to start thinking about free agency and the draft.Hopefully next year the team doesn't start out digging themselves into a huge hole and having to pray for miracles.

the strangest things have happened wut if every wildcard hopeful flops the rest of the season we will be sitting pretty!!!

we get in over kc AND denver if each team loses ONE more game (as long as kc doesnt lose to oakland) bc kc would get in over denver bc of intra-division records and then we would jump over both teams bc of our head-to-head over kc... we need jets to lose to us PLUS one more game (either to oakland or @ minnesota)... we need bengals to lose three or jags to lose three- bengals r one of the hottest teams in the nfl and so i dont see them losin three straight..however, jags are only good at home. they play @ tennesse (one of the hottest, if not the hottest team in the nfl). they than hafta play a patriot team steamed up after gettin whooped by us. and finally last game of the season they must go to arrowhead stadium and try and beat the chiefs who will be trying hard to win there last game.. it is impossible to win in arrowhead in december..
so bottom line- jets lose one besides us and jags lose three (sounds pathetic but i really think its possible) - plus taylor just got injured so who knows
