Amazing that some people on this board still want to blame everything on Henne. But those people are not fooling anyone. They have talked about how much Henne sucks and of course they want to be proven right. So Henne trows for over 400 yards, 2 TD's and runs for another one and he still "sucks".Those haters would rather see Henne have a bad game and our team lose(so they can say they were right)than to see Henne play good and have to explain how wrong they were about him. Look, I'm not saying he's perfect but this guy played a great game last night even tho we had no running game and was rushed by the pats defence most of the time while Brady had ALL FREAQUING NIGHT to trow. Back in the day Marino would trow for 300 yards and we'd lose thanks to our lack of defence and everyone would say that. Henne trows for over 400 yards but our defence gives up 600 yards and is still Henne's fault.

Such a pitty that some people on this board are such sad people that they need to find a someone to blame for everything just to make themselfs feel better.I will say this as the fair person I am. Henne needs to play good the whole year, not just one game but to say he's not much better than he was last year makes no sense unless you have an agenda which I know a few people on this board have.

30 of 49 for 416 yards and 2 TD's plus 1 rush TD......why not man up and admit Henne had nothing to do with us losing last night.

Ozzy rules!!

I dont think people are hating on Henne, he played great last night. Would like to see him throw a catchable fade in the EZ though. Man those bad boys were sailing miles over Brandon's head.

So apparently one decent game wipes out two years of mediocre play? No, he's still an average quarterback who still can't consistently throw a touch pass. And at the end of the day we still only had 17 points on the board, halfway thru the 4th. If you're cotent with that, you're content with being mediocre as well.

Henne has to improve on his goalline throws . . . no question.

But I tell ya, anybody looking to scapegoat Henne as the reason we lost last night absolutely need to take that **** elsewhere . . . because this defense laid down last night. They weren't prepared, this dominant dline let this new Pats oline dominate them. They couldnt rush Brady, the secondary had an awful night . . . every last member of the secondary played bad. Our 2 inside guys had bad nights. Misi was AWOL. Cam Wake was the only person playing decent, and he was getting handled by a rookie most of the night.

Gut check time for this defense next week against the Texans . . . they can make all of it go away by standing up and locking down that high powered offense. I hope Mike Nolan has a good gameplan, because he was manhandled this week.

So yea, umm lets use a 2nd rounder next year and find someone better . . . that has worked out for us. We haven't had QB play like that in ages . . . lets throw out any glimpses of the guy improving for a shot in the dark again.

I saw a new player last night that still has work to do but has shown with a new OC he CAN improve his play. Give him more than one game.

Okay. He is not horrible. he is AVERAGE, good for a 7-9 season, he will win games for you but not enough to push us over the edge. if you have been paying any attention to the NFL in o i dont know the last decade. you need an ELITE QB to go anywhere. Henne doesnt suck because he cant throw or looks robotic. he sucks because he isnt good enough to win us anything and he doesnt suck enough to put us in the Luck lottery
(BTW i dont want to hear about the Dilfer Ravens, that is the exception that proves the rule. it will never happen again)

The first time he and Brandon Marshall weren't on the same page. The fade route to Hartline in the endzone should be removed from the playbook. I've never seen Hartline come down with a jump ball in his career.

The biggest problem isn't Henne's touch on those throws...although it needs to improve...it's the fact that in the redzone we have become one dimensional because we can't run the ball worth a crap. We can't get a single yard because the O-line gets absolutely no push. Henne was our leading rusher for goodness sakes.

If the game wasn't so lopsided I think we probably would have scored 27 or 30 points. We probably don't go for it on a few of those 4th downs and we kick a few more FGs.

yeah he mos def needs to work on a touch fade at the goal line will be kind of hard with that rocket arm he has. but i am happy the way he has started in this new offense, will be a fun season, i could see the fans finally chanting for henne, it was all hennings fault

By this philosophy, Matt Ryan isn't good enough either. Damn, alot of teams need to visit the "elite QB" tree and find something ripe for the pickings. Eli Manning won a damn Super Bowl man . . . can we let the season finish. Henne looked seasoned out there, yea not elite, but there are only a handful of QB's that are elite in this league . . . there are 32 teams . . . everybody isn't going to have an elite QB.

this looks like the 3rd year hes had problems at the goaline. shorten the field and defenses expose him. Has the coaching staff even attempted to work on this with him. put him in the bubble, away from prying eyes and let him make TD passes from the redzone all day. put him against the 1st team D and make him pratice like 50 endzone pass attempts until he gets better. and if he cant do it stuff the ball in with the running game. seems we should work on that more than piping in crowd noise

How about Brad Johnson and the Bucs??? That happened just 2 years later. Do you want to hear about that one???

Yea HE is the problem at the goalline . . . not the offense that is unable to power it in from the 1/2 yard line.

Our fan base is a joke! I hope other teams fans don't read this board its embarressing. Ive never seen fans in any sport wanna see there starting player fail just so they can go on message boards and rant. Stop praying for the failure of Henne.....He looked good last night and the last 2 years dont matter....Last night doesn't matter gotta take it week to week. If people wanna hate ill gladly join you in a case against Benny Sapp He killed us last night BRING BACK WA25
