This is going to be the defense's biggest test yet, and if we can keep the Lions to under 20 points, I'll be convinced of this D's dominance.

I personally feel like this is the type of game that will be won in the trenches. If we can get pressure by rushing only 4 or 5 while forcing Stafford to throw into traffic to Johnson and Tate, then I think we can have a very good game defensively. If we have to start bringing more than 5 on blitzes to get to Stafford, then we'd better not miss, because if given time to get open consistently, Calvin can do what he did to the the Giants in week 1 to anybody, and that was not pretty.

I haven't been this pumped for a Sunday in a long time, it's an exciting matchup and a huge test for us. We're one of the hottest teams in the league with an explosive young QB... Let's keep it going, let's ****in go.

I thought Tate was out on IR?

See the Chicago Bears game. Marshall is close to a rusty Calvin. If we can play that type of D against the Lions I think we can succeed.

double megatron, and stay close to golden tate. I hear their tight ends are all banged up. all of them. lol

Double Megatron period take his ass out of the game. Miami offense dominant TOP and keep him and bush on the sidelines.

Double Megaton with Jones, put Grimes 1:1 with Tate. Won't be easy but hopefully we can limit the damage.

We MUST put pressure on Stafford. Our line CAN'T afford to let him wait for Megatron to get open because even against double coverage, he will.

Also, we have to do something to keep that dirty-ass Suh from smashing RT into the ground. If we have too, I'm all for the "Longest Yard" 90 mph Tannehill fastball to Suh's nuts approach. I wouldn't normally advocate that, but Suh is a dirty dirty player and I don't want him anywhere near my QB.

Alot of people thought we were going to have trouble guarding the bears recievers including myself, but we did a really great job. I think we can do the same with the lions our guys are playing tough and great so i just have to have faith and i do.

Johnson isn't world's better than Marshall or even Jeffery.

Grimes can handle Tate I think 1v1. Tate at this point of the season is "scarier" than CJ.

We WILL get pressure on Stafford early and often. Our D is a fearsome force and it is peaking every week. Sacks, turnovers, 3 and outs, stopping the run, confusing the opposition with elaborate schemes. Coyle has been the wizard of late and his players are buying in and they are tight. A deep and killer front 7 and excellent CBs and Safeties. I love the way they totally hammered Phillip Rivers sending him to the bench in the 3rd quarter!! Awesome job against a very good QB. I promise that Dion Jordon will do great things for the team. It looks bad now but I have seen good things from him and he is just rounding back to form. He will be a very versatile threat down the road. In the speed package he stands up and can blitz or cover. The guy just needs some time imo. I know there's some hate for him on the board but he's going to help us win games. If he does that then I'm a fan. There's no benefit to cutting ties now so let's pull for this investment to end up a good one. Finally, how's Detroit going to block Wake and Vernon??? Answer: they won't!! I don't see a high scoring game but we win 26-19. 6-3 and playing the Bills 4 days later. Tough stretch, we'll be 7-3 soon with 2 games vs. the Jets still on the schedule. We could win 10 or 11 games. Should get us to the post-season!! PRAY THAT THE TEAM STAYS HEALTHY!!!!

gonna have to roll a safety to megatron. im more worried about bush out of the backfield with favorable matchups against our lbs in coverage.

This should be the game of the week imo. A top offense vs a top defense, also a top defense vs a talented and fast paced offense. Should be a great game! But that's what I said last week!!

We MUST put pressure on Stafford. Our line CAN'T afford to let him wait for Megatron to get open because even against double coverage, he will.

THIS^ We need to bring pressure and make Stafford hurry his throws we cant let him sit in the pocket and make easy passes , if we can Bring pressure with just 4 and penatrate back into the QB we will have success , and the last 5 out of 6 times we have played Detroit Miami has won .

Well, according to the guy from Football Gameplan, we should put Wake in coverage on Reggie Bush and blitz with Misi.
