And wow, our playing field couldn't be any WORSE. If Mike Shanahan thought that last year's field was the worse he's ever seen, this may turn out to be TIMES TWO worse.

The grass is almost completely dry, and there are infield dirt piles all over the outfield.

Get ready guys, this might turn out to be an ugly game. The ground temperature itself next week under the sun might go up to 110-120 degrees.

Also, if any of you care, Dontrelle Willis had 12 strikeouts for a complete game, and lead the Marlins to a 3-0 victory.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I really hope the Marlins get their own stadium. They deserve it, and moving the team a little bit north should allow more people to attend the games on a regular basis. I'd attend once in a while, and I'm not even a big baseball fan.

Crap, I hope the Marlins tank as I hate baseball anyway and dont want them in the playoffs ruining our "Football" stadium even longer than they should....

OK, quick question - other than the field issues, WTF does the Marlins season have to do with the Fins? Oh - nothing you say? Then is this posted in the right forum?

Nope. Come on now, keep it relative.

FYI, there is a thing called "Landscaping"...ever heard of it?

Oh yeah? Well Dolphin Stadium will have 3 days to do this landscaping, as their last home game for this week [not the year] is on Wednesday night, 7:05 pm; against the Mets.

Where was the landscaping crew on opening day last year?

If the field is in bad shape they'll do work on it night and day

baseball sucks

can't wait to get our feild back from them

I know right....I get to see all I need to see from Sports center.

They have 4 years to get a stadium or to get out of town.

No one likes the infield dirt during football games, but if anything, The Marlins should be pissed about the Dolphins screwing up their field, not the other way around.
I love The Fish, but let's not forget The Marlins were World Champinons in '03, not '73.
