Not sure if this has been posted here, but during one of the Jets seasons of "Hard Knocks" Rex Ryan instructed known team enforcer Rob Turner to start a fight with Vernon Gholston FOR MONEY in order to test him.

Ironically the media, many of whom had to have seen it, didn't make a peep.

I guess if Gholston hires him he will

Can we PLEASE.. somehow.. get this into the media spotlight. I'd just love to see Rex take a beating over this whole national bully debate

Well, if there was an ongoing legal dispute over bullying in the locker room getting national tv coverage, I'm sure the reaction would've been a little different. If it came out tomorrow that Richie took a poop in Martin's toilet and didn't flush, there'd be a 2 page article crucifying Philbin, Ireland, Ross, and the franchise within 2 minutes.

The media has a story here, and they're running with it. It'll be over once people realize how insignificant it all is...maybe at the expense of a few more careers while we're at it....

Of course not, chairman Roger will never allow the team he interned for get in trouble.

I think the Dolphins are going to be the main crime scene for now until it's absolutely pulverized into the dirt, Martin's had his way, Incog, Ireland, coaching staff's fate determined and sentenced. Then once the dust clears, they'll start airing out some other team's grievances, and move the media camp to said team's city.

Goodell Anti-Bully Movement -- BEGIN!

Get the clip on youtube and lets blast the crap all over twitter for all the talking heads to see...

Now you guys want to blame Rex for the mistreatment of Martin by his teammates. Like I said before, you can't make this stuff up.

I'm not blaming the Jets. I'm calling out the media pundits who are a bunch of hypocrites. I guarantee you we could dig up articles from the same morons discussing the Jets during that season of Hard Knocks I'm referring to, but no mention of the "Code Red" Rex issued.

Nothing Cog has done comes remotely close to it.

Arranging fights to toughen up a guy. By the head coach no less. And this wasn't a story? Instead it was a universally loved season of hard Knocks.

Hypocrisy 101

Do you see Joe Philbin arranging fights?

Guys its not a story unless the guy who got beat up complains......he understood this is part of the game, Martin did not that is why we are where we are.....The Jets and Rex have nothing to do with this issue this one is ours forever.....get used to it...

Rex arranged for these "toughness tests" multiple times. He admits to it in that video on the first page of this thread.

Please someone send this link to mike and mike and everyone else out there. They said it "wouldn't be the first time" they orchestrated a fight. What if Gholston was j Martin?
