Amidst the rumors that Peyton is now meeting with the titans it pretty much guarantees that his decision will extend beyond the beginning of free agency.. I think this is the perfect opportunity for us to go hard after Reggie wayne, before Manning has even decided.. It's a win-win as even if this doesn't persuade Peyton to come to Miami, we still need a legitimate number 2 reciever..

Thoughts?

If it's true Houston is now in the mix there may be another QB released or traded soon.

No, you don't go after Reggie Wayne in hopes of luring Manning...that's bad personnel management and a poor way to use what little cap money you have. Reggie is going to be 33, we need to stay young, find players that fit what the coaches want to do on offense and continue to build through the draft.

This coaching staff was methodically built with the purpose of TEACHING the game of football as well as coaching it. It's a mix of college and NFL coaches that know how to coach a player up. Let them do their job.

If Manning decides to drag his feet beyond the beginning of free agency then I say f**k him, go with Flynn. There's a real possibility that the Fins may end up with NOBODY after all is said and done. And at that point, you're going to start dealing with a Brandon Marshall who will very publicly start demanding a trade, and 0-16 is just a hop, skip, and a jump away. Come to think of it, that may be the best scenario, because that means we get to BLOW FOR BARKLEY!
