I didnt see the game- just read the comments on game thread which sounded like he was REALLY off. But 2nd half we're converting 3rd downs, avoiding t.o.'s and sustaining drives thanks to what sounds like was an awesome rushing atack by knowshon and line.

i assume rt did a good job managing the game. I think weve all seen games where he's incredibly accurate. Sometimes the mark of a good qb/leader is all the other stuff he does right when he just doesnt "have it", and all qbs have those days. Was he checking into and out of plays? Avoiding sacks and turnovers? Playing to strengths and just keeping team together?

or was he pretty bad and we won in spite if his play? I would think he must have been solid in a lot of other areas to guide a 23-0 2nd half shutout (which also seems to be due in large part to the Defense.

Of course he did something right. We scored 33 points. Bottom line. That is what matters to me.

For YOU to say that, WV, he must have been awesome! :)

Seriously, i just didnt see many props other than one pass that sounded great and was dropped (sims). Was really curious what the overall perception was of him for the game.

HE settled down in the second half and took what was there...they allowed the run game to do damage and Tannehill made plays when he needed it to.

He made some had decisions, again, then he stopped. He really missed some throws, though. When we made it 23-20, he had missed a throw to Clay on that 3rd & goal that really shoulda been a TD. He also thee the ball out of bounds on that out& up when Wallace got open. His Int was awful too, but besides that, he played fine. He was good enough for what Miami needed today; but he'll have to play better to win some other games. If he plays like this every game, though, then we're in trouble. Sometimes your QB does have to be 'all that', but today was not one of those days.

He made mistakes but he also played very well. Miami as a whole was the better team today and that is why we won. The truth is that without Brady the Pats are lost, and Miami is a dangerous team on both sides of the ball.

Tannehill will never be better than Brady but with our defense and offense he doesn't need to be.

Not a great 1st half for him. Bad throw to Wallace that was picked, he was throwing behind receivers. Then once the run game was established he was more comfortable and made some great throws in the second half. Looks like he had some happy feet starting the game and was a little too pumped up. Once he settled down he looked solid. I've said it before. Tannehill just has to play solid and the numbers will follow. He doesn't have to win games all by himself or force a play. Just make the right read and make the right throw.

He has a lot of improving to do, but showed maturity going into that second half down by 10. Now it's time to let this game translate against the Bills, and score some more TDs.

Thanks for the info! Sounds like the fins might really have something this year with play of the OL and defense, and rushing attack.

He was 10-12 at one point in the first half...geez...he gunna be FINE....HE SHOUOD have had 4 tds today...nothing wrong with the throw that Wallace went out of bounds on and Sims flat out dropped on that hit him in the hands for a tuddy...he also had a few others just simply dropped....yes he put a few in the first half a step behind the receivers yet they caught them...he going t be a stud, y'all watch

He should have had 2 more TDs......but Wallace and Sims dropped a couple

Anybody watching the broncos? Manning threw behind a guy, underthrew a deep ball almost got picked by vontae and almost got picked again in the end zone....but Tannehill has extreme accuracy issues

Tannehill was good today. He shouldn't have to be perfect with every throw, sometimes your WR's have to make plays for you! I don't care how far behind that ball was to Wallace... Wallace caught it and had time to tuck it and run... He took a good shot and fumbled! It happens. People need to Stop listening to the dumb commentators! That deep pass to Wallace where Wallace couldn't get his feet in bounds... Not Ryan's fault. He made that throw in the run and put it on the money. If Wallace catches that ball at its highest point with his hands instead of letting it drop in the bread basket... It's a TD. If that was Dez, Moore, Marshall, Fitzgerald etc... That's a TD. If Tannehill plays like this the rest of the year we will be in the playoffs for sure.

Oh man I don't think luck is a franchiseqb he just overthrew a guy and got picked...looks like they need to take a qb next year
