This guy up here in Maine owns this store that has all sorts of Patsy crap hanging all over it, and he has his clerks wear patsy crap during football season, he thinks that the sun shines and sets on BB's arse....

anyways, I was in there a day or so ago and he is all pumped up about moss...so I says to the guy, hey, remember a few years ago when I was in here the day before the first game of the season when Oakland came to New England and I was talking smack with you and telling you that Moss is gonna go beserk against a weak patsy secondary and all you could tell me was that Moss was a bum, a cancer, and he was washed up?????

Ya know what is answer was? I dont either because he tap danced around it and then went off into some tangent that Moss is a better player now because he is more mature and that the "character of the team will turn him around"....

Yeah keep dreaming patsy fans........Once a turd, always a turd!:shakeno:

Wow, Patsy? I cant saying anything about this post that will get me warning points.

Aren't you doing the same thing? Saying a player is great until he signs with a team you hate and then he isa cancer and is worthless?

Crap. I thought I was in the depths.......ooops.....sorry....well waddya want, it is 3 am!

There is your problem right there....you were trying to think.

You must have stopped into that Pats sports shop and picked up a #12 jersey seeing how he's your Idol.

:sidelol:

It sounded that way to me too.

Well...let me ge this straight..In order for Moss to be good..he has to catch passes..right? And in order to catch them...Brady has to throw 'em..right? But...Hos is he going to throw em..when he is constantly on the ground? (Cuz..yall wont be able to quadriple team JT anymore..))

I think a lot of fans change their opinions of players depending upon which team a guy plays for, especially when it involves their own team or divisonal rivals. My crystal ball is very cloudy so I really have no idea how Randy Moss is going to do in NE. Is he going to turn the Pats into a passing machine? Did he learn a very bitter lesson from his sojourn in Oakland? Are his skills still superstar quality? Is he going to wreck the Pats' famed "team chemistry"?

I think that Tom Brady makes all his WRs better than they are. I think that if Randy Moss wants to make it to the Super Bowl, and possibly even win it, then NE is probably the best place to be. That doesn't mean that NE is a shoo-in, but I think that rather than RM being the catalyst for problems that sink the NE juggernaut, it would more likely be injuries or maybe age catching up the Pats' LBs to KO NE's hopes -- or maybe the team just isn't as good as everyone assumes or maybe other teams have just gotten better.

That's why they play the games.

I don't care if he was the grinch that stole christmas in Minny or Oakland I'll judge him from here forward. If he can't change his ways then send him packing. He's only on the cap for 3 mill on a one year deal so if he doesn't work out then no NBFD. I think Moss will be more valuable as a decoy to draw the double which should help the others get open and prevent other teams from stacking the box. His role will be varied in NE and he won't get as many throws as he got elsewhere. I don't think any team would not have taken this deal its just too hard to pass up and the price was right. Were going to find out how bad Randy Moss wants to be part of a championship team and get a ring.
