We know that Ricky Williams isn't back up to playing weight yet, but we also know that Saban has stated he will play Ricky on Monday. As the depth chart sits now, Ricky is fourth, meaning that if the depth chart is followed, he will play with the third team during the game. He will also be playing against a third team defense...

Even though he's not back up to weight, he's still pretty fast... I wouldn't be surprised to see him have a field day if he does play in the fourth quarter on Monday. He could really go out there and shame some guys. It could actually end up being pretty funny. I doubt he can run many guys over yet, but the thought of sending him out against a group of guys that may not even make the team is hilarious.

I think Ricky will come in second despite where he is on that chart. That's really just a guess, though.

My thoughts exactly! Ricky will make at least a few guys out there look downright silly, I hope he knocks someone into the end zone like he used to. The other thing though is that he will have a 3rd string line blocking for him, so we never know.

Ricky should do very well, but if he struggles, then its gonna say a lot about where he is right now. But really, I'm excited to see all our RB's. Gordon, williams, minor and kay-jay.

Perhaps, but in reality, he's listed as 4th because he isn't completely back to playing shape or weight. If the season were starting this Monday, and RW wasn't being suspended, he'd start...he is a proven back and is clearly better than Gordon, Morris, or Minor...This also assumes that Brown isn't here either...I might be wrong about RW starting if Brown were here and up to speed on the playbook...

Don't put a whole lot of stock in preseason performances, particularly in the second half of games when the scrubs are in...How many "great" performances have not been able to be duplicated by guys in real games..??
