So what are the enemies saying about our new coac? Look here....

They feel a lot like we do that they agree it was a great hire but of course they hope he fails.............Love it.

I'll say this much...things are looking at least a bit brighter for Miami football than what they are going through In Jetsland with all their turmoil.

As a Bills fan I am glad you are keeping your GM. This is a league where the talent matters. Good coaching is important but you can only coach up crap players so much.

Green Bay has a great offense but they also have Aaron Rodgers, Greg Jennings, Driver, Jermichael Finley, Jordy Nelson, etc. So who knows what this guy brings to the table.

we have tons of cap space? bout 9 mil or something. not exactly IMO. Wonder who goes.....

The challenge for Ireland will be to draft the best players that can excel in the system Philbin wants to run, as the Parcells/Henning offense that Ireland bought into will be reworked into something a little more reflective of the modern era.

We have upside after going 0-7. The jests however are certainly on the decline. Their team captain benched, their center challenging other players to put a name on it, and no confidence in their qb. Not to mention Rex is viewed as a hot airbag.
The Bills are the Bills. They can be hot and cold.
The pats will always be the pats. As soon as people get focused on their lack of defense, they explode with points from their TE's. You can't figure them out, but as long as Brady Belichik are there, they're always in it.
I see Miami battling for first in the ACFE next season.

Jets fans should be real worried about their own team, not ours. That team looks like it's about to take a long walk off of a short cliff.

we played the power running game for the last decade look how far it's got us this is something the jets fans still dont realize Philbin is a great hire

you have no idea whatsoever if this is a great hire. maybe he'll be the next Shula ... or maybe he'll be a disaster. the fact is, he has no track record, so there's no way to judge it yet.

as I just posted on TGG.COM ... 11 head coaches were hired in 2009. 9 of them were first time head coaches. I'm sure everyone thought they were great hires at the time.

here we are, three years later and only 2 of them still have their jobs ... Rex Ryan and Jim Schwartz.

We'll see if Philbin has what it takes to be an NFL head coach.

What has happened to Jet fans, they actually seem cogent and coherent? I expected to go over there and read a bunch of slams. I'm kind of taken aback.

It was almost scary to read some of that from them.....I had to double check the link I clicked.

and considering that Rex snuck into the POs thru the backdoor 2X, never won a division, has only had 1 legitimate winning season (without the charity of others), has had a string of personal and clubhouse embarrassments ranging from tripping Fins returners to sexual harrassment of reporters, and now looks like he can't control his team, maybe you do have a point at that :idk:

I've never made a comment of Gang Green, but I occasionally have gone on the site to read some of the comments. The comments regarding Philbin are mostly subdued, but go on the game threads and it seems like the F bombs are every other word. Not a very articulate fan base.

best comment, seems they want some more possible former Dolphins, who would have thought

"Probably... Miami has all the cap space in the world and Flynn looks good in Philbin's system.

The question is, do they fire Brian Daboll and do they release Matt Moore. Both would be interesting hires/signings for the Jets"
