So whats the big secret?

Cam keeps saying that we will know everything as to why we are cutting ties with daunte.

He said that when the time is right he will tell us everything and that it will all make perfect sense.

for the life of me i have no clue as to what he could be talking about,,,do you????

I would also like to take the time here to apologize to all the people on this board that i debated to no end,,,I WAS WRONG ABOUT DAUNTE.

I really want to know this freakin secret that cam is referring to.
 
He is talking about a trade that is in the works...

And it clearly seems to be with the Jags...
 
Just my opinion, but could it be that they informed him before the team meeting that he was not in their plans and he decided to go to the meeting and cause a scene?
 
I see him headed to either Jacksonville, Houston to backup Schaub or Atlanta. Just my hunch though.

The way I look at it is...Who really cares why ?? He's made the decision and we now have Green as our stopgap until Beck is ready. Who really cares what goes on with Cpep now ?? I would like to see us get a pick for him, but it won't matter much at all come Sept, will it ?? DJ...don't fret over it, let it go...
 
You're reading way too much into it......there is no big secret. Either Jacksonville wanted to tell their guys before they heard about it through the press, or there is another team interested that has a sensitive QB issue.
 
Not quite sure it's a 'secret' ... but CAM is mum on speaking about DC, because just about anything he could say would work against pending or future trade possibilities ....

Thus, he will remain quite until DC is gone ... however, it works out.
 
Reports out of the Windy City today are Indicating that Daunte will be brought in to the Bears for a 5th or 6th round pick in the 2008 Draft. He is expected to compete with Grossman for the Starting job.
 
Probably Won't Help Our Trade Cause If We Let The Whole World Know Why We Really Don't Want Dc.

I dont really think there is much a secret. We are trying to get a pick for him, or he will be released. What are you apologizing for, I dont even remember?

Boy it would be great to get "something" for him. I just wish the whole thing could get over with and we could just concentrate on our upcoming Superbowl run this year.

That would be nice! I would take a 5th or 6th in a heartbeat right now.
 
Jags won't give us anything for him, they know we don't have a place for him and will release him eventually. The only way they would give us something is to speed the process to get him into their camp.

On second thought that is exactly what we did with Green, maybe we could get our pick back that we gave for Green. That would be cool!!
