So what's the front 7's excuse?

Listen, I can totally accept Manning putting on a show today as he may be the best ever with a sick corps of receivers and our secondary was absolutely decimated by injuries, but wtf was with that run D and nonexistent pass rush? To allow 200 rushing yards to the #26 rushing attack in the league, and to get absolutely no pressure on the QB against an offensive line that was playing woefully bad is absolutely unacceptable.
My problem with this team is that we do not finish, we **** the bed in close games, and it just seems like whenever one phase of our game is playing well, another one has to step up and royally screw the pooch to solidify a loss. Those problems, for me, are related to coaching.
I hope that this team makes a run and goes to the post season as much as anyone on this planet, but based on what I've seen from this team in tough situations, I just can't see it. I can't see us sweeping the Jets, I can't see us winning in New England, and I'm not sure why everyone has the Ravens game marked down as a W... The Ravens are pretty good, and we have not fared well against good teams. I'm not a fan of Joe Philbin.
 
FYI, if someone says "they were tired" Fatigue is not an excuse. Make a stop and get off the damn field if you are tired.
 
If anyone came up to me before the game and told me the offense would score 36points and lose because the defense got gashed, I would've laughed in their face.......... Who would've thunk it.
 
Miami's DL got exposed big time.

Without a lead and keying on pass rush, they are wussies.

Never thought I would be so ashamed of a Miami D. Embarrassing, actually.

Overrated, opportunistic. Needs a big lead to be aggressive. Otherwise, they choke under clutch situations.
 
I honestly only noticed Vernon get SOME pressure today the rest were all lame and i saw Misi and Jenkins play hard

Miami's defense today looked like their defenses of the late 1980's. Zero pass rush and horrible run defense.

How does a professional D line play that badly? Allowing gash after gash, running the ball down the field and then zero pressure on pass rush?

Spent a 3rd overall pick on Jordan, nowhere to be found, Wake and Vernon with nothing, Coyle's schemes were bad, free releases for the wideouts and hardly any blitzing we saw St. Louis and NE use to beat Denver. The coaches are awful.
 
C'mon guys. It was a short passing game today. That is what they used. They didn't give our guys time to get to him. I was a good gameplan against us.

Meanwhile Lane Johnson is a solid starting RT for the Eagles right now... We could certainly use one of those about now.
