I admit that I haven't paid much attention at all to Jacksonville this year, and from what I understand, their fan base isn't paying too much attention to them either.

I know that Jones-Drew is a concern, and that their defense is pretty stout. I've never really been overly impressed with Girrard (sp??) at QB, but we all know how average QBs tend to have career days against the phins. I admittedly know nothing about their receiving corps and couldn't even name one of them...except for Ernest Wilford.

So, what do we need to be worried about Sunday?

Jones-drew is threat #1....aside from him in order for me

Garrard getting out of the pocket

Sims-Walker

Hold those 3 areas, we win.

That's the short and skinny of it. That athletic TE who was a QB in college has also been coming on strong as of late. But really, the O goes through MJD first.

yea MJD, Garrard & Sims-Walker are their main threats, im not too sure how their defense has been playing so i couldnt tell you about that.

The key in my eyes is to pound the ball. Attack their defense with Ricky early and often and try to limit MJD's carries by keeping him off the field. I'd also like to see us take a couple of shots deep in short down and distance situations in an attempt to get points on the board early as this will also limit MJD's touches. Garrard is a smart QB and good game manager and he wont lose the game, but he also isn't capable of winning it, keep the ball in his hands for most of the game and I like a hungry Miami teams chances. Score: 21-16 Miami

I don't see any threat other then MJD. He'll be a handful all game though :/.

*John Henderson is also a madman. Running up the middle is going to be difficult as well. I think pat white and the wildcat could make some big plays for us.

Wrap guys up when we tackle. The Jags have a young O-line that can be beat on the pass rush and pushed back on the run. That being said, we have to make solid tackles because MJD will abuse you if you make arm tackles. Garrard is strong and you might think you have a sack but he'll run out of it a lot of the time. Sims-Walker is good, he'll make a play if you throw it up for him. Marcedes Lewis is deceptively fast and we all know how much trouble we've had covering tight ends this year. But if we tackle well our defense will be okay.

On offense Ricky should have a good game. I would like to see Henne keep throwing the ball a lot because I don't think there's really much to say for Jax's secondary. Jax's D is more o a mystery than their O. But that's my take on our match ups
