NFL stars Randy Moss and Devin Hester, and Dolphins players Anthony Fasano and Jake Long are among NFL players who will play in a charity softball game against the Palm Beach County Sheriff's SWAT on Friday at Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter.

I know Long said he "felt fine" after the injury, but this just seems to be more confirmation that his scare at the Pro Bowl really indeed was nothing. If he was really hurt, he wouldn't be playing in a softball game.

So that local newspaper can't exaggerate a little and call Fasano and Long NFL stars too, just players? Disappointing!

Fasano had the 4th best #'s for a TE and Long made the probowl at LT as a Rook. goo thing they arent stars though, like the STer deven hester

Actually, Long didn't play. He had to bow out along with Pennington and Roth according to the Dolphin's website. But, don't read anything into it. He is fine or we would have heard from the reporters in this town.

Yeah, I read that also. Crowder was actually a last second fill in. I won't read to much into it, but it would have been nice for him to play and slam the door shut on his pro bowl injury.

I posted a message on one of the sun-sentinel blogs

for Omar and Ethan to kick the tires and see what they can find.
