Im listening to The Sirius Blitz and I cant count how many times Solomon Wilcots has brought us up. Keeps saying how we are not the 1-15 team we were last year and if any team that comes to play us thinks so they're gonna get beat.

He feels the Jets are walking into a volcano because 1st, Pennington has something huge to prove because of how they treated him. also mentioned the coaching staff is looking to restore pride to the franchise. He loves our line with Long, Smiley, and Satele. Thinks Ricky Williams is going to tear it up and is the best candidate for comeback player of the year (Although he also mentioned Pennington has a great shot at it too). Said something along the lines of us being much more motivated than people think..

I loved the line though when he said if teams come in and think they are going to play a 1-15 team, theyre going to get beat.

I think he sums up the Dolphins perfectly.

Lets go DOLPHINS!:woot:

he was saying the same thing while he was doing the color on the Saints/fins game.

I think that opinion is probably the best voiced opinion on a team that's gotten better, that noone (rightfully so) has any respect for. We're capable of beating anyone that overlooks us....Doesn't mean we will, just that we're capable.

Solomon wants to marry us. I agree with him .....but how could you not like what you have seen this offseason.

Yeah i think those who pay attention to training camp and preseason and watch how much intensity our team is playing with actually see us winning 6+game. when your head is shoved up you *** like all ESPN analyst you only see 1-15 and no superstars to hang your hat on. I mean the pats went 0-4 and were in the last 3rd in all major categories in preseason but since they have BRADY they will win 13....but the dolphins beat 2 playoff caliber team go 3-1 and play with a mean streak and intensity and well they may win 3 game BULL**** ESPN your killing football.

the story week 2 will be if the opening day win was a fluke or will favre bounce back, yadda, yadda... lol

That looks like a 3rd nipple on ol' Kristy FatKA...

Solomon is completly right. We are not the 1-15 team from last year. The Whole Offense is new and different. You have a new starting QB, RB, TE, FB, LT,LG, RG and the WR are young and want to prove something. Our D-line aside from Holliday, Soliai and Wright is completely revamped with youth and Veterans. You got and a brand New LB corps and half of last years team if not most is gone.

Teams still think we our 1-15, but what they dont know is this is a brand new team.Full of Talent

you do relalize preseason is preseason. we beat 2 playoff calibre teams? you mean we beat their backups. if you watched the Saints game, Miami left their starters in way longer than NO. Im not trying to rain on your parade, but its preseason man. maybe its more valuable for Miami than others because of the rebuilding process going, but some teams dont need the tune up as much. I see NE winning 12-13 games. they have a powderpuff sked compared to last year. look at their 1st 4 games.

new season complete new team.. who knows i wont b surprised if we dont win too many games cus its not easy to revamp a team and be successful the first year but i also wouldnt be surprise if this years team is very competitive and makes a run at the playoffs

I think he makes some good points and you cannot overstate how bad the coaching and overall atmosphere was last year. We loaded up on both lines and found 2 QBs that are better than what we had last year. That alone is enough to see some improvement on the field.

There is a long way to go so lets not go overboard but I am pleased with the plan.

PS - Thoes hurricanes (Hanna and Ike) out to sea might also affect the passing during the Jets game and turn it more into a run battle - Im fine with that too.
