No sir, unless I am wrong the only way we can get in is beating NYJ...due to head to head loss to the Ravens and conf record would be worse than Pats and Jets if we lose Sunday. Bottom line we need to win and not worry about anything else.
No only NE would advance.
If Jets beat us and the Patriots lose, the Jets win the division.
There is one other way we win the division I believe if we don't win.
If the Patriots lose, would the Phins still win the division if they tie the Jets?
If we win, we're in, if we lose we are preparing for next year. No matter who else does what.

One thing I can say and I hope the rest of you agree...regardless of the outcome on Sunday...this was a great year to be a dolphin fan after last 5+ season going into week 17 knowing we were out...this year has been very exciting to have that feeling that our team can be AFC East champs after being the AFC chumps last year. So I am already proud of this team before they play Sunday but it would be a dayum great year if we can win the AFC East and play in January. With that I wish everyone a wonderful and safe holidays and here is to 2009 lets pray we are playing in January but very upbeat about Sept of 2009 regardless!!

its just nice not to be depressed 5 min into every game. regardless of outcome i have enjoyed this season. ive noticed the sun shining and birds chirping again.
No, the only way we get in is if we win.. nothing else matters, we win and we are in.. although if we tie, and baltimore and NE loses, I think we get the wildcard

How the Dolphins can reach the NFL postseason:
AFC East title 1. A win at Jets next Sunday, OR 2. A tie at Jets AND a loss or tie by the Patriots
AFC Wild Card 1. Tie at Jets AND a win by the Patriots AND a loss by the Ravens
note that if NE wins,the jets win and Bal loses Ne gets the div title and jets get wildcard

Where does this **** come from? Are people purposely planted onto the site to ask ridiculous questions to start any kind of thread or to possibly spark people into infractions? I mean seriously, a short glance at the standings before posting answers this. Or just pay attention to some football shows on TV and you will see it within a half hour. Seriously, wtf.

i think he also meant to write if the bills beat the pats r we in, not if the pats beat the bills bc that would make no sense, even though its not possible anyways.
I mean for gods sake he asked if New England wins are we in. Anyone can look and see we have the SAME ****ING RECORD as the Pats. How the **** would them winning put us in? Its not like the Bills are in the picture and them losing helps out. A simple glance at the standings and a ****ing 7 year old can figure out that the Pats winning vs. a team not in the picture cant give us a birth. You dont even have to know the playoff structure to see that. Where does this **** come from?
