  1. Dolphins offensive line led NFL in 2024 and leads NFL with most holding penalties since 2019
  2. Dolphins offense last in NFL in 2024 in yards per play without Tua Tagovailoa
  3. Miami's defense led the league in fewest yards before contact per opponent RB carry - yay!
  4. CB Kader Kohou was 6th in yards allowed per coverage snap and 7th in yards per target allowed last year among qualified NFL cornerbacks
  5. De'Von Achane was third-worst in NFL in lost- or no-yardage plays

Interesting metric on achain.

Thought that’s what I was seeing. Good to see someone measured that aspect of the game.

Well when your qb misses 6-7 games, it’s not going to look good. Obviously, the loss of Hunt and injury to AJ caused huge issues on the line.

We went from being a top 3 running game to maybe the worst in the league.

Fix. The. Lines.
The problem is that this won't happen with Grier as the GM, or McDaniel as HC. Grier is going into his 10th year as GM and he still doesn't have a competent o-line; he can't build one through the draft, and when he tries to buy a line he goes for injury-prone players. And, McDaniel apparently doesn't need or want a tough, strong o-line because he thinks he's so smart that he can scheme around it.

Achane being in there is goddam criminal considering the idiocy of the plays being called behind the LOS. Blaming the player for the play calls is bullsh*t.
Yeap the first half of the year before told a different story. Remember when we could block and run inside till our Center went down, Eich went in. Achan didn't forget how to run.
