This is the year we get our TE imo. David Martin leaving last season showed that he was much more important to this team than we all probably thought. Fasano struggled at times, but will still be solid for us, but we need another TE. This draft seems to be filled with depth throughout the draft at TE. No questions at the top, Gresham will be a 1st rd pick... Big, long frame that can dominate the middle of the field. Don't see him as a fin because it would be a bit of a reach at 12. Guys I liked watching today were Graham which everyone has been talking about. I feel his stock will continue to rise as we get closer to the draft, Prolly a 3rd rounder. Other guys include Pitta from BYU, Dickerson from Pitt, and Dickson from Oregon... who would you guys like to see in a fins uniform next season?

I like Pitta and Jimmy Graham for the U! Both look like good 3rd or 4th round picks and would add a great pass catching threat as a TE.

Yeah they both look good, along with the other graham from Wisconsin.. he looks solid as well. Too add to them Gronkowski and Hernandez aren't working out and they 2 are being rated fairly well.

I really feel Miami will grab this guy(Jimmy Graham) in the 4th,if not the 3rd

with the 8th pick in the draft the edmonton eskimos select TE tim tebow of florida!

IMO, we need a TE much more then a WR.

I agree. At WR, we at least have some promising young guys in Bess and Hartline. I think finding a TE to work with Fasano would be much easier than finding a legit #1 in the draft. A guy like Dennis Pita or Jimmy Graham could contribute immediately as pass catchers in the David Martin role.

I somewhat agree with you guys about the TE over WR... The only argument I would have is we lack that #1 guy, a true playmaker that can change the game in 1 play. We don't have that guy that can go up and make any catch. Thats why I would say if a game changing receiver is there we have to pull the trigger. IMO we'll address both this offseason.

Graham, Moeaki and Pitta all had good workouts. Gresham did not look too good, didn't look real comfortable catching the ball at all.

And IMO there really isn't a standout receiver that we can't pass on and shore up another need on the team. So yes, I also think we'll address that in the offseason.

He's far from crazy. Pitta is the best receiving TE not named Jermaine Gresham, and the advantage Pitta has over Gresham is he doesn't have a previous seasons injury riding over his head.

I've said this before and I'll say it again, the Dolphins should look to draft Pitta with their 3rd round pick, hell if they don't see anybody they like with the 43rd pick, we should trade down to the late portions of the 2nd and draft Pitta.

Jimmy Graham is a basketball player who has the physical tools to be a good TE, but has the least experience of anybody in this draft, had a mediocre season last year because of that, and dropped some key passes in crucial games. I like Graham as a 3 to 5 year project, but I'd rather take a guy like Pitta who would be able to be productive within a season of coming into the league.
