Miami will not be good this year.. they will show flashes of becoming great but, need to learn how to play as a team. look at sandiego, indianapolis, new england, jacksonville, and even the freaking browns. they all build around a system and building a system is building around the players given. san diego will most likely be the best team this year, and teams like the raiders and the dolphins (rebuilding franchises) will be the worst. i believe that ricky and ronnie well help us be presentable come game day but, wont win us any championships. We need a nucleus of a team that knows how to play with each-other. We dont have any elite recievers, and we dont have a great quarterback. we have an average defense, and a young offensive line. that isnt winning football, thats rebuilding.

beck, henne, and players like langford, merling, long, satele, carey, brown, jason allen, channing crowder, ted ginn, and anthony fasano are the beginning... we still have alot of wholes and learning experiences from here people..

so breathe for a second and watch the forming of an elite team. its going to be fun, and disturbing along the way.

Blah Blah Blah you wont brake my optimism. Go Phins! I only responded cause u have two identical threads.

I hope we rebuild the way san diego did. They're franchise is perfect. I'm suprised they dont have a ring yet.

their coach is the only thing that would worry me if i was a SD fan. Now my best friend is hard core and he says that the smell Marty Shot left town with still remains. He says he feels cursed when they get to the post season. If you think about it.......they played a lesser titans team in the wildcard round and then they played the colts who they just match up perfectly against. When they got to NE game over wether Rivers and LT were healthy or not.

Subpar coaching is the reason... Put Belichick there, or some real good coaching, and the Chargers are a dynasty team.

Don't agree. Yeah, all those teams looked a lot better then the fins, but your argument fails because have you looked at the cowboys? The cowboys played almost like the dolphins. Besides, Our team does not have a lot of depth, but our first team has enough talent to go to the playoffs.

None of us are psychic, we'll have to wait and see. I obviously don't expect the playoffs, but I think we will be a much tougher smarter football team this year. Improvement is improvement.

Well remember last year LT was hurt in the playoffs, and Rivers was playing on a torn knee ligament.

That being said, they've got this near and probably next before they have to blow their roster up. They're gonna have major cap issues just like every other elite team eventually does.
So their window is two years and then after that they're going to have to retool for a year or two.

So anyways, I said all of that to say, their franchise isn't perfect, it just seems like it is right now because they have alot of inexpensive talent...but that's not going to last very long and then they'll be in cap hell and some other team will look like the perfect franchise.

thats exactly what i was trying to say.. i named teams great now, and why we wont be. in a few years thats a different story
