The Gambling Corner is not too great on this site. I understand it's hard as a gambler to pick correctly every week, but the gambling corner is very mediocre over this seasons picks. I wouldn’t say that I could do a better job, but why promote something that isn't very reliable as advice? I hate to be critical but someone on this site needs to point this out. The advice on this site isn't that great, and I understand it's free, but I don't believe the site should publicize it on there front page when the advice is sub par. Sport handicapping is the hardest profession to master. This is just something that has always bothered me and looking at the record of the gambling corner I thought I would post something. I'll leave you with stats for you to decide.

Year to Date Record: 31-30
STONE COLD LEAD PIPE LOCK RECORD: 9-6
College Record: 30-26-2

Have a good night,

We're not advising you to follow anything. What you decide to gamble on, is your own responsibility and where you decide to get your tips, is completely up to you. However, to assert that our gambling corner is of no benefit to you or anyone else who may be looking for insight or advantage, is wrong. According to the stats you've shown, if you had followed all the gambling advice given, you'd be a winner, albeit in a very small amount but, a winner none the less.

But, you could also look at it this way, as in, there is nothing like a good bad example. You could either use this column and do the opposite of what is advised or look at this column and decide that winning isn't assured and then decide that gambling isn't a very smart way to invest your money in the first place, thus saving you a ton of money in the long run. :)

You know what they say:

Gambling is a tax on people who are bad at math.

Pretty much all commentary goes on the front page.

Last year Mike went 42-25-1. This year he's down, yet still over .500.

Hank Goldberg....of WQAM and ESPN fame....went 44-52-2 in 2004 on NFL regular season games. In 2005 he went 45-42. This season he's up to 50-41-3.

Tough game.
