Another nice article, if it hasn't been posted yet. It's on CNNSI, from Don Banks. Praising Saban and his new system. I really wish I had put more than 50 bucks on the dolphins season, got 5.5 games as the spread.

"But on this, the first day that really mattered in the Dolphins' Saban era, you can't quibble with the early returns. The surprising proof was flashing right there on the Dolphins Stadium JumboTron scoreboard: Miami 34, Denver 10, in a game that was so ugly it was beautiful.
Especially for those with aqua in their blood. Consider the rest of the NFL on notice: The AFC East now has another superb head coach among its ranks."

great article, but "little talent"???

We have what 5 or 6 pro-bowlers on D and Mcmike Boston, frerotte, chambers, and williams I beleive have all been to the pro-bowl. that's 11 out of 22 starters have pro-bowl experience. I think "talent" is one thing we haven't lacked for 20 years.

we have only lacked coaching talent since the great one Don Shula retired.

other than that yes, all hale Saban, great win, great stratagy, and a good article.

I don't think Chambers has ever been to the pro bowl. Boston is still an unknown right now. Frerotte has had one good game, let's see if he can maintain for 16.

I didn't give a rats azz what the experts were saying before the season i.e., we are doomed, and I don't care about the love now. We as fans must realize that the "experts" know little more than we do.

Although Chambers hasn't, he left out Booker who has.

(That smoking gun article was hilarious BTW.)

I don't give a damn about pro-bowls. We've had enough players to go there and stand out amongst the other pro-bowlers. But it is time to have a playoff mentality. Forget accolades and records, it is our time to get back to the playoffs. And I don't care if we went 4-12 last year, this is a new team from top to bottom and if teams like Carolina can go 1-15 and then I think 2 years later go the the Big Game then we can too. :fire:
