Some Notes.....

I really wonder if we had the top pick mathematically locked up if some fans would still root to lose each game. I think they would. I understand not wanting to win last week because that would have tie breakers involved since the skins won’t win a lot. But really Miami can win one game and still get the number one pick.

They can win one game then lose to the bengal who will have some of their injured guys back.

I think some people just think it is cool to make these jokes about losing. Their were people complaining when we were winning. Come on. One win won’t hurt You can still get the first pick.

Have you seen Cincinnati? They are our competition for the first pick. They legitimately might be worse than us when we let Fitz play.

Look how bad Jimmy G looked against the Skins today. He had 10 yards passing at halftime. Maybe Rosen was just in a bad situation playing the skins D. I didn't think we would score a touchdown against Buffalo though. You never know in this league. I also don't know if the falcon will win another game.

He was playing in a downpour.

Ballage has a role as a short down specialist, but he is not a starting running back. Keep him on the roster until someone supplants. I thought Boehm turned in a good performance at center. I would love it if he was the starting center.

This coaching staff does not get enough credit for player development. The team improves every week.

I like Ballage think he has a unique size and speed combo but he hasn’t learned to use it. Rooting for him but not sure it’ll ever click that he’s a big guy. Seems like he’s big but he runs with no power. You’d think he’s like 5’8 190 the way he runs, like he has an identity crisis or something.

yeah plus a new coach tends to give a team bit of energy. It is rare for any QB yo light up the stat sheet in that game. The ball is wet even though they try using a towel to keep it dry.

On a side note... I saw a twitter update saying the weather in Washington would be a downpour and though "well I don't have any Seahawks or ravens players this week". Red zone flips to the game after 1 pm and I'm like "oooohhh that washington" never mind the fact that they are in maryland

I loved realizing that (one way or another) everybody’s butt was puckered for 95% of the second half.

A relevant, contested game was a nice change of pace.

Expect more! The team, albeit not that talented, is coming together. There were massive changes just before the season. The first 4 games were like preseason as the coaches were still juggling an offensive and defensive line together. This was a much bigger deal than the site lets on IMO. Now there is some stability and Fitz, again albeit not that talented, also adds stability. The team will be competitive on many more Sundays and may squeak out a couple wins (unless they re-insert Rosen too early). The last 2 games were pretty much in line with what I expected out of the 2019 Dolphins. If we can ever get a healthy 75 million dollar CB on the field with the former pro bowl safety in the twilight of his career we will only be better. I also really want to see Nkemdiche, Tank and AVG so there is at least something to see.

The Bills are fools gold though. They aren't that much better than the Miami team that played yesterday. The QB will eventually cost them a chance at doing anything. Yesterday was a clear case of in the words of Bill Belechick, "they made a few more plays than we did."

On Rosen, I'd like to get another look but if he's showing the same flaws in practice, late throws, no anticipation etc., I see no reason to waste time. The coaches see him everyday I wouldn't roll him out there until again until he's practicing at a high level. He seems like a very long term development project that we may or may not have the time for in a backup role.

One thing I find interesting. This staff seems disinterested with Wilson (I know the injury) and Grant. Last years staff seemed to want to make these guys the focal point of the offense. These guys like the tall WR's better. We really should be a better RZ team if we can get into there. We have size all over the damn place between Parker, Williams and Gesicki.

We may have found us a real pass catching TE. He continues to improve every game and I even saw him lay a block on a guy late in the game. I like what I see so far.

It’s clear Walton is the RB the rest of the way. I want Ballage gone and I really don’t care about Drake anymore. Walton finds holes, hits em hard and keeps his legs going. I’m sure the coaching staff isn’t looking at him as our #1 but I’d like this guy to stick around and be our Damien Williams.

Don’t like Fitz at all but I rooted for him hard today. The dude has balls of steel and deserved that TD.

Parker showing some physical play on his TD. Great to see. However I won’t miss him if he’s gone next year, he just doesn’t make enough plays although a lot could be blamed on the OL. But I just try to improve on his position if I can.

Pass Rush. If we cut anyone just cut bait with Harris already. We can sign someone off the street to do what he’s doing. We need some major infusion of talent there. And it’s going to take a few drafts to get it done, way too many holes.

I thought the coaching staff really showed us some promise today.

Why is Reshard Jones on this roster. A body taking up a spot and he doesn’t play. I get the contract but he needs to be gone. But I do thank him for his service, was a good player for us

I was prepared for this season, I’m at peace with it although I was still stressed today during the game trying to win one. But I really think we have a future here with Flores and some of the young guys. It’s in Grier’s hands now and I hope to god he turns into a real GM
We didn’t find Geisiki (sp?) spelling nazis go away

we PAID handsomely- this wasn’t found money on the sidewalk

I sure hope he pans out because that was a blunder passing on Goedert and Andrews

Mer didn’t have the luxury of a reach there

I don’t know, Goedert is dropping a lot of passes right now, and easy ones at that

Dallas Goedert with ANOTHER critical mistake (fumble) last night and Mark Andrews with 3 drops, yeah I'm good with Gesicki and his freak show talent lol.

And way to go Tannehill, I knew he'd come back strong!

And LOL Philthaldelphia Eagles the most OVERRATED team in the NFL as I said all off-season!

And Go Nats!

I mean Gesicki has a long way to go but the grabs he made yesterday and last week were extremely encouraging. His catch radius is looking freakish. Let’s hope he continues to improve.

Do they block? Oh they do? So I can put them in rush or pass packages oh good??
Then I can forgive a rare drop - both are better than Geisicki at this point of their short careers - I pull for Geisiki to show is what he is made of

Look at a career to this point not a single game - for all you know he has two injured fingers - Geisiki won’t touch nobody so it won’t be a concern

Sure they're better blockers, but when you have a chance to draft that ELITE of a pass catching TE as Gesicki is you take it in the second round.

You don't draft Goedert who is playing like s*** this year, has far less talent than Mike, and played with inferior competition in college, Grier got that one right (not finheaven).

Andrews was a steal in the third but again, much less talented than Mike so I can see why he wasn't selected.

Shannon Sharpe didn't make it to the hall on blocking and that was 20 years ago before the NFL became pass happy outside of Seattle and now Baltimore.
