All you people who keep making these snap judgement posts and predicting doomsday after one game make me ill.

Is it just that the cool thing on the internet nowadays is to rush to judgement on everything? Are most of you 11 years old? Seriously, what is it? I really would love to know.

You guys need to get some perspective, and quit this crap. If we had won, you guys would have been the first to come on here and say we were headed for Super Bowl 41. How about you just let the season play out and realize that it is a marathon, not a sprint? Is that even the slightest bit possible? Last time I checked, Pittsburgh didn't go undefeated last year. New England didn't the year before.

Couldnt agree more. I'll tell you what. ALOT, and I mean...ALOT of people were convinced we were gonna beat the steelers from the time the game was announced right up until a few days ago. I kept interjecting posts throughout that time period saying" Hey, its great to feel good about your team...." just dont set expectations SO high that you come crashing down like a druggie in rehab.

I KNEW this was going to happen...KNEW IT. Too many penciled this game in as a win instead of looking at it like it was going to be a tough game and a tough way to start the season. Its amazing....but I would be willing to bet that most of the ones starting all the doom and gloom threads/posts...were the most convinced we would win this game. I'm sorry, I like our team but I'm realistic. I would not have been surprised if we won....but I also am not surprised we lost...bottomline. Why are so many acting like the season is over? And I need to go to bed, cause if I see or read one more thread or post about how Daunte and Ronnie suck....I'm gonna go freakin insane. Relax people FOR THE LOVE OF GOD...RELAX!!! Holy hell...

Call out the team all you want, Bub. I have no problem with negative things being discussed. The problem I have is that very few people are doing so in a rational way. You have an actual point to make about something that happened in the game tonight? Make it, but don't sit there and spout nothing but nonsense and act like you are some wacked out manic depressive ready to go jump off a bridge over it.

I am upset, too, and so are a ton of other people here. But so many are just acting like the whole season is lost after one damn game. It is just pathetic. Did you expect the team to not make a single mistake all season long, or what? I am not directing this at you personally, but rather everyone else making these ridiculous conclusions after one game.

Oh, and I have absolutely no malfunction. Unlike all the overzealous "jumpers", I keep my brain grounded in reality. Thanks for playing, though.

I have to respectfully disagree with you.. Had we somehow won the game, I still would have concerns... No run blocking and no secondary...

When the game started, I was hoping... expecting and anticipating Ronniw Brown and Culpepper to move the football and we'd be in control of the game... but after the couple of series, Pitts offense was having more success at moving the ball than we were and I knew it was going to be a nail biter.. All throughout the 2nd quarter, I kept waiting for the offense and running game to get on track, but it never happened... Pittsburgh defense was just too strong..

In the 3rd quarter, we took the lead 17-14 and I wanted to game to be over just as badly as you did... because I knew it was just a matter of time before Pitts would find the right play to burn us for a TD... which they did..

In the 4th quarter, I was looking for Culpepper to move the ball down the field and score the go ahead TD.. instead he tosses a couple of TD which sealed our fate..

Had we of won... I would have said we were a little bit fortunate and a lotta bit lucky... because Pittsburgh was clearly the better team!!
