So I decided to ask around (total of about 20-25 firends, coworkers, etc..) to see what the thoughts were about this whole mess. I pretty much only talked to males because I dont know too many women that know much about football in depth.

Here is the most consistent answer that I got from most of them:

First and foremost everyone is just sick and tired of the topic. I can say that pretty much everyone doesn't want to hear about it anymore.

Now as to what they thought about it, most pretty much think that Martin is a snitch and would not want him on their favorite team. They all acknowledge that this stuff goes on in every single locker room and that Martin should have stood up to Incognito like a "man". That doesn't mean fight him, but to stand your ground and tell him straight up that this needs to stop if he really had an issue. A lot of them also said that before all the news came out about how they were best friends, they had sympathy for Martin, but once all that news broke it changed their entire perspective. Especially when so many phins players backed up Cog.

I am not saying I agree or disagree with these opinions. I am just saying this is what I have heard from the small sample size I have taken. I have been dodging this issue with a lot of people because its so embarrassing to see the Phins just getting hammered day in and day out. But after talking to these people it made me feel a little bit better at least knowing that the common football fan knows this stuff goes on all around the NFL and isn't really holding it against the Dolphins organization.

It Seems Martin had this on his mind for a while and just acted on it. He probably kept track of a bunch of evidence we don't even know about yet.
He comes across as a traitor! Martin might get some monetary settlement out of it though he broke the football code what locker-room could trust him again?
