Not a bad list of coaches to be mentioned with, Coughlin, Belichick, Parcells even Mangini. Certainly very demanding, but at the same time very successful. If players in that locker room don't like Sparano that's fine, but if they don't respond to his abbrasive methods and refuse to do their jobs then see ya later......Sparano has done a hell of a job coaching this team and any players that fail to realize his way works needs to be gone.

if they dont, they need a new home. Players who cant take tough coaches can go elsewhere. We need strong men!!!

It isn't a popularity contest...I bet the most hated coach would be the most loved coach after hoisting the Lombardi trophy...

They list the last 2 Superbowl winning coaches ahead of him. Perfect!

“Coming from Pudding Cam and all that, soft as a cotton ball, we had to have someone in here who had a little jerk in him,” Crowder said. “They brought in the right guys. They’re going to be a jerk and tell you what they want you to do, and if you don’t they’ll get rid of you."

LOL! Pudding cam. A bit harsh but crowder humors me once again.

How many of those players polled were Dolphins'? How many of those were from teams the Dolphins beat this year? I bet Brandon Marshall voted for Sparano.

A coach doesn't need to be liked, he needs to be respected. Big difference there. And I see no shortage of *** pats and hand slapping when one of 'his players' makes a big play.

As Crowder said, nice guys finish last, again quoting Crowder, Pudding Cam was a nice guy and he led us to a 1-15 season. I'm glad we have a hardass as our coach, it's what we need to be successful. Parcells, Belicheck, Coughlin are all hardasses and look how their careers have turned out, pretty good if you ask me.

So to sum it all up, I'm glad we have Sparano. He instills discipline in this ball club, which turns into more wins down the road. Can't argue with that

u think our team would have finished off denver the way they did in that hostile environment at that time and all the noise if it wans't for the coach asking for perfection? all those 'lil" mistakes that u get yelled for come to payoff during those moments.

Great coach, great win.

Barkley said it himself on TNT lastg week, its BS players liking coachs with a longer leash b/c look what happened to Dallas when parcells left the team got happy and nice phillips and they are a mess now. THIS IS BARKLEY saying it HIMSELF! Shows how far parcells and all these disciplining coaches send an impression of winning culture.

you can please some of the people all of the time and all of the people some of the time but you cant please all the people all of the time

Players must listen and do what is being said, otherwise they have nothing to do on this team. I like the hard style, as long we win and commit significant progress, I still have faith in that Sparano make it right!

For real, if you are such a sissy that you can handle a coach that yells at you for a mistake that you made then I don't want you on my freaking team anyway. Some of these guys forget that they play for their coach and their team, not for their own name.

You screw up, you get yelled at plain and simlpe.
