Some points from the game

First of all, my heart exploded.. I need a new one.

Just want to highlight some positives and negatives..

Positives

-Special teams .. what can I say? Great job, we put the 49ers in bad position all day, and for the most part the 1st man there got the tackle.

-We threw the ball well, we need to utilize our TE's more, it obviously works .. we've drifted from them lately until today (BEAUTIFUL catches by Martin and Haynos today)

-Defense played very well for being on the field for .. well, the whole game.

-Ronnie ran great, but cmon Henning! He averaged 6.7 yards per carry on 10 touches! GIVE HIM THE BALL 25 TIMES ALREADY.


-We need to keep blitzing random corners I haven't heard of much, because its working and our front 3 isnt getting any sacks so we need to keep at these exotic blitzes.

-Good penetration on runs

Negatives
-Pass D still suspect, I think we decided to not cover Bruce today.

-Our WR's were not there today.. Ginn dropped a few passes.

-Penalities, 8 for 66 yards .. what happened?

-Our offense dissapeared after the 1st quarter..

-Carpenter.. gotta get those man. Was he kicking into the wind?

So. Another ugly win, but I knew it would be close anyways. If we can keep up the flashes we had in the 1st quarter, we'll be dangerous. But our offense keeps dissapearing and having games below 20 points. But .. I'll take it!

Good observation. I was curious why we didn't run a bit more on 1st and 2nd too. I am just glad we won. My neighbors probably think I am crazy. They are old, so hopefully they had their hearing aids turned down. I yelled so loud one time I actually started seeing stars...hehe

Its nice to know im not the only one that lets their anger out .. I've sure broken a lot of stuff this season

lol i punched in my dresser after that "brilliant" pitch on 3rd and 4 putting our kicker in the unenviable position of kicking a FIFTY yarder from the LEFT hash mark... thanks Henning!

I dont want to over reat but Dan Henning seems to be screwing our offense over. Like on a 3 and 1 we had we gave it to ricky and he got stuffed. ummmm why not Lousaka??? And the passing... what the hell? Run the damn ball. Its not like we lack skills at that position...

Guys don't forget a key play in the third quarter, third and inches from the SF 39 or 42 and we didn't convert if we convert who knows maybe we score a FG and go up by 14.

It seems like he's trying to trick the defense too much .. as in throw when they think we'll run..

But he's trying to mix it up so much that they know we throw more on 1st and 2nd down than running

And that 3rd and 1 is a near guarantee if Polite gets it. Ugh.. choices like that really kill me

I think Ginn is not a good player and he ought to take a pay cut in the offseason. if you pay big money to a player that player needs to get the ball alot and should make big plays regulary.

after watching the Falcons today (not by choice) they can throw the ball well. I wished the dolphins would put a offense on the field for once . this wont go nowhere unless the front office realizes this and go after a playmaker at wr.

Good points but a few flaws. Ginn dropped only one pass not a couple. Kick would have been good if not the horrible call on 3rd n 1plus wind conditions he hit it well. Secondary kept the ball in front of them, I thought they played well. The secondary made some very clutch tackles today, hill was a machine.

Smart call. For the past few weeks, the Dolphins have been giving it to Polite on every single short yardage situation possible. The 49ers were probably expecting it.

The give to Ricky was smart - the line just didn't do a good enough job of getting it done.

Bottom Line - Dolphins won. Now onto the Chiefs.
