There is plenty to of things that we can be positive about on our team… Hopefully it will give you something to cheer for!!! Below are the current rankings of our most productive players VS the NFL. All in the top 10 of each catergory...

Miami’s “Dâ€Â

- #4 overall in league
- #4 in forced fumbles
- #4 in yards allowed per/game
- #4 in yards allowed per/play
- #6 in pass defense
- #9 in sacks
- #9 in turnovers
- #10 in rushing defense

Zack Thomas
- #1 in tackles
- #3 in passes defended (of Linebackers)
- #4 in ints (of Linebackers)

Jason Taylor
- # 8 in sacks (3 behind the leader Julius Peppers)

Vonnie Holiday
- #3 in “D†linemen tackles

Miami “Oâ€Â
- #3 in receptions
- #4 in receiving 1st downs
- #6 in receiving yardage
- #6 in first downs
- #9 in receiving yards per game

Chris Chambers
- #2 in receiver rushing
- #9 in receiving TDs

Randy McMichael
- #3 in receiving amongst TEs (6 behind K. Winslow)

Ronnie Brown
- #4 in rushing TDs (3 Behind the leader L.T.)
- #10 in receiving yards for a RB

Wes Welker
- #7 in punt returns
- #8 in receptions (7 behind the leader Anquan Boldin)

Now I know you can go out there and find just as many negative rankings, but these are some bright lights in a dark forest…

We seemed to have had success for the first time on the OL this past game... No sacks and 127 yards rushing with a TD by RB...

I see us building on that and believe that when we beat GB and go into the bye week, we come out like the eruption of a volcano in week 9!!! The bye week will allow us to get some of our secondary back and I honestly believe that our "D" will play much harder if we get the "O" on track and scoring points...

We have 10 games left... We win 9 of them, we make the playoffs and possibly win the division... 8 we have an outside chance at the playoffs, however, this really doesn't concern me because I think we go 10-0, but that is just MHO...:dolphins:

Those are really good stats. Hopefully the fins start putting up more points early and can win some games. The real test will be the Bears.

When your losing everything is exagerated, that's human nature. We have not been beaten badly by anyone and have yet to surrender more than 21 offensive points in a game. Against the Jets we had just about 400 yards of total offense. The Dolphins problems comes down to execution and fixing mistakes. If this team ever cuts out the mistakes and plays consistent offense they will hang 30 points on somebody. I hope we are capable of it. I don't think we have a Super Bowl team, not even close, but we have to believe we have good enough players on this team to beat teams like the Jets, Buffalo, Houston, hopefully Green Bay and even the Pats. Mistakes are killing this team. Cut those out, if possible, and the wins will start piling up, even with the players we have. In the NFL you have to force the oppostion to beat you know matter how bad you are. We are not doing that, we are gift wrapping games and the other teams are saying thank you. We keep hearing everything that is going wrong is correctable, the coaching staff and players have to prove that is not just a broken record telling us this.

There's my first, kind of, positive post of 2006.

Every weekend... But I believe that this past weekend will be the equivelant to the Cleveland game last year... I believe that they are ready to turn the corner...

I am also a MAJOR homer of a team that is 1100 miles away from me!!!

I guess you have to find whatever bright spots you can.
Here's to a win on Sunday.:drinker:

Go Fins!

I thought that after the buffalo game actually. I sure hope you're right though. In reality we have not played that bad really. But the critical mistakes (INTS, Fumbles, Sacks). If we eliminate those we'll win a lot more games. 10? I dont think so but we might win 6-8 more.

I know your truely hoping....but win 9 games? They say every long trip starts with a first step....but thats asking the 2006 Dolphins to play like the 1972-73 Dolphins....and that isn't going to happen....with the talent they have on the team. I'd be happy if they just won one game...the game against the Bears....and that may be asking too much from Santa. LOL.

Cmon man wake up. You want the most important ranking of all, 1-5, everything else is bull****!

BINGO.
How good would this defense look if our offense could actually score points and our opponent's offenses actually had pressure on them to move the ball?
Our defense gives up chunks of yardage and big plays anytime our offense scores and makes it a close game.
They can't shut down anybody Iincluding the Titans and Texans) WHEN IT MATTERS!

ONE of our big problems is SCORING OFFENSE. We're 29th out of 32 in scoring offense. We're capable of having these good drives down the field but we can't seem to get it over the goal line for touchdowns .... too many missed field goals and turnovers too. THAT is frustrating. :tantrum:
