Yeah being a mile high and less oxygen to the brain could be another factor
 
Vaark, this is what I have been saying and thinking the whole time. There is a reason Orton is looking for a third team in a mere 6 year career. A great QB almost never goes from team to team. Drew Brees is the the exception, who we could have had by the way. I was pretty upset that draft day.

Anyway, I see no point to overpay for someone who has little chance at success. If he is all they have left to go after, then save there money and tough it out one more year with Henne. People are just so sick of Henne, they are ready to see him benched at any price, even if the price is too high and the replacement option is no better.

So are you saying that of the majority of "Orton Sucks" Broncos fans - not all of them are very smart, or not all of them are very dumb? And can't the same then be said about the Henne-sucks majority around here?

Maybe you'd be singing a different tune -if for 2 years of watching him go 3 and out and self destruct in the end zone or when the game's on the line, you were one of those who actually rooted hard and painfully for the Broncos?

Otherwise, there's little evidence that you might be any dumber than the Orton or Henne haters, but neither is there that you're any smarter either!

yeah, just like our fan base with games in N. Miami, there are no avid Broncos fans across the country who'd be also watching the game remotely

what's funny is that those guys want no part of him - do think he's an improvement over Henne - yet also think the jest should amp up the bidding since he's also an improvement over Sanchez. Can't say I disagree with any of that - but what it boils down to IMO is that if you're driving a 7 year old Kia - is it really upgrading to a 8 year old Hyundai - or shouldn't we at least aspire to a newer model Toyota?
